As you know Virgil was the most disliked side. Sure Patton would talk to him but that was just Patton being his nice usual self. In the end nobody had Virgils back. Patton fryer to be as nice as he could but Virgil always saw through his nice facade, he hated Virgil as much as the other two did. At least Patton had enough kindness to be kind to Virgil. The other two openly admitted and openly spoke of their hatred to Virgil. Then again what which was better, being constantly ridiculed and told how much someone hates you, especially if one of them is the one you secretly love. Or having someone constantly faking being your friend not to hurt you even though you can tell they hate you.

Patton was rather good at reading emotions as would be expected science he represented them. He had figured out Virgils not so little crush on the princely man. Sometimes Patton did feel bad for how he himself and the other sides disliked Virgil so much. Of course than he would think about it and remember, Virgil represents anxiety he doesn't deserve real friend's.

But of course no one knew. They didn't know the whole story, the darker things that lurked. Every bad thing that ever happened was blamed on Virgil. Of course some of the things were his fault at times but that never meant everything. Within the four sides there was a balance, to much or to little of a side and something would go wrong. Virgil knew this, but the other sides didn't. They thought of Virgil as the source of every mistake. To them he was nothing more than a disorder.

For every problem of Thomas's Virgil was blamed. The words thrown at him were torture, the things  the other sides did to him, unthinkable. Roman and Logan would immediately attack him when something went wrong, Patton would stand there watching with a disapproving look to Virgil while occasionally throwing in a remark. None of it hurt worse than what Roman did. The logical and emotional ones voices faded in the distance, the only one mattering to Virgil belonged to the creative one. This person that Virgil felt so many emotions for would stand there tearing Virgil to pieces over something that wasn't even his fault. Nevertheless Virgil would stand there taking all of their torment only to have one thing to say before he retreated to his room.
