Virgil slowly opened his eyes. As he looked around he noticed that he was somehow on the floor of his room. Curious he began to get up only to be meet with the feeling of pain. Yet this pain felt different then the normal pain he felt after cutting.
Then the memories flooded back as he began to remember what happened. Thomas had a panic attack and it was blamed on him. Even though Virgil knew this one wasn't his fault, he'd have to look into the reasonings for the attack later. Right now he was more concerned with Roman lashing out.
While he did believe he deserved every ounce of pain, he was still disheartened. Roman was supposed to be a prince, Virgil always thought of how one day Roman would be his knight in shinning armor. Coming to rescue him from his inner demons.
As sad as it was even though Roman just injured him, Virgil still had feelings for Roman. Feelings that he dreamed would one day be returned. Even though at times he would lose hope, Virgil would still use every four leaf clover or shooting star wishing that Roman would at least notice him for being more then the anxious mess he appears to be. Virgil wished that they would all look a little closer then his outward appearance. He knew that if they did, they might give him a chance, they might actually accept him.
Sadly all those wishes so far had been a waste. So he stood up and made his way to his bathroom bandages and pain relievers already set out on his sink, leftover from some of his previous activities. At this point he didn't even try to hide his things, not the blades or the bloody towels at this point the most he would do is wipe up the blood to keep himself from slipping or stepping in it. Besides no one came to his room anyways, that were all to scared. They all thought he would corrupt him. So Virgils room was far down the hall away from the others.
Once he was all cleaned and bandaged up Virgil went over to his dresser. He began to apply his pale foundation over his face. Completely covering up his features, including his freckles. He then hastily applied his dark eyeshadow around his eyes blending it in with the dark bags that already took residence under his eyes. Finally he put on some eyeliner and considered him self less ugly then before and good enough to go outside. Though under the pale mask he used to hide himself he could still slightly notice the bruise leftover from Roman. Oh well not like there gonna take the time to notice. And hey, if they do it's not like they'll actually care.
Virgil slowly poked his head out of his room. Determined to go unnoticed by the others. He slowly began to make his way down the hall, passing by his fellow sides doors. The he carefully descended down the stairs, he already new where all the squeaky boards that made noises where. He had those memorized after the countless times he would sneak down here at night to gather supplies while for when he would go by for weeks locked up in his room. Supplies normally consisted of more bandages and cleaning alcohol.
Finally he reached the end of the stairs and released a small breath of relief. Virgil started up ready to continue his way to the memory room. There he could find out what really triggered the panic attack. Not that it would change anything, he would still let the others blame it on him all the while also blaming himself.
As soon as he turned the corner he regretted it. Virgil wished he had just stayed in his room, but it was to late to turn back. Virgil had walked in on the others as they were eating Nd lunch and they had noticed him. Patton immediately put on his fake smile and tried to welcome Virgil. "Hey kiddo, you finally die use to join us! I wasn't expecting you but it's fine we have plenty of food!"
Virgil could tell they didn't really want him there. Logan only spared him one hatful glance before returning to his meal. Roman stoped and stared daggers at him, it made Virgil shiver, remembering how Roman beat him up. It brought fear to him knowing he might do that again.
Returning his attention back to Patton Virgil replied " No thanks Pat, I'm not very hungry right now." But Patton trying to look somewhat like he cared pressed on the matter, "Oh common, why don't you ever eat with us. You act like WERE the ones that would corrupt YOU!"
Virgil felt that, he really didn't understand why the other side just disposed him so much and labeled him as an outcast. Yet before he could reply Logan spoke up, "Drop it Patton he obviously doesn't care about his health enough to eat and that his own choice. He's not a baby we need to constantly take care of, he's a grown person who needs to know how to actually do things himself." Logan slowly began to calm down as he trues to simmer down his anger. "Besides like you said he's the one who would corrupt us, none of us want him here anyways.
On that not Virgil left not even waiting to see the reactions of the others. He knew they would all agree with Logan and they would be happy when they realized that he already left. He was almost out of ear shot but he heard what Patton had finally said.
"Ya, I know your right Logan. But I just try to pretend I like him so he doesn't act completely mopey all the time. It'll bring down Thomas's mood. But I really do hate it,constantly having to put up with him.
I hate putting up with that disorder
