Spending time in Miami for some business and relaxation, it was soon coming to an end. I got to go to some events with my boyfriend and we also had some quality time alone. Unfortunately, we spent most of that time arguing. I should probably say he was arguing because I wasn't doing anything but letting him get his issue out.

"Okay, Quez! I hate yelling and I don't have time for you to act like a la' female right now!" I grabbed his locs before I had realized.

Me and Quez have been on the rocks for a minute now. This relationship shit ain't working for me, son. I don't understand what the problem is. I thought it was my daddy issues, but my dad and I are on good terms at the moment. My new therapist says I have trust issues, but I trust Quez. He can just be a bitch sometimes.

When he's out and about, I used to trip, but I realized it was controlling so I stopped being on his case as much. Now that I'm minding my business, he has a problem with that. It's weird of me to say, but dude can't handle me. I have my issues with abusive men, but for some reason I want a nigga who can man up and put his foot down. I'm used to being around alpha males and Quez ain't that.

"You wanna just call it quits?" He asked me.

"Is that what you want?"

"I'm asking. Cause I like you, but this ain't working right now. We both got a lot going on."

"Yeah, we can. I'm a leave and go by my family." I started gathering my bags while using my smart earpiece to call a ride.

"We can take a break and see what's up afterwards." He helped me.

"Nah. I don't think it'll work out. Stay up though, you a cool dude. I'm just a handful at times and I don't think you used to that." I pulled out a wipe to grab the door handle.

"You talking like you already got a nigga waiting." Quez followed me out the door.

"And you acting like you don't know my last name. I'm not about to cry over no man, I ain't built like that." I shrugged.

Outside already was the self driven car waiting for me. My earpiece synced with it and the door opened. Quez saw me off and I waved goodbye to him. Inside the car, I called Brooklyn to see where she was. Her, my daddy and mama, Aaliyah, D.B, and uncle Xavier were out here as well. The rest of the family went back to New Orleans after the events were over.

"I'm bout to come over to the house. Me and Quez broke up." I told her.

"Good. I been told you to leave his leprechaun ass. He a nice dude, but you can do better." Brooklyn responded.

"Tiana broke up with him?! Tell her get over here so we can talk!" Aaliyah yelled in the background.

"Getcho' ass here so we can talk about Mr. Lucky Charms." She hung up.
