After praying most of the flight, we finally made it to the island for my destination wedding. I've never done anything like this, so ya' girl is nervous as fuck. Being tied down to one man was never my thing, but let's not play, I love me some Mike. He's my other half and I wouldn't have this any other way—even though I did put up a big fuss about this.
"We have both houses so no fighting over rooms!" I loudly announced as everyone walked up to the two big houses.
Mike and I had the honeymoon suite, which was just another part of the property—separating us from the two houses. We had a videographer showing off the whole estate while getting the fams reaction. Although I'm nervous, I feel so at peace with such a scenery. The air was crisp, the greenery was fresh, and it was giving black luxury.
"These heels is coming off." I sighed as me and hubby entered our little house.
"We getting married tomorrow for real?" Mike asked me.
"Shitttttt. I guess, son." I chuckled.
"Damnnn, that's crazy. I'm marrying the fyest to eva' do this. I can't fucking wait to change that last name, girl." Mike grabbed my hand.
"I done let you do whatever to me. That must be what love is, huh? Then gave me all these beautiful, nerve wrecking churn', and putting a ring on my finger. The crazy thing about it is, I love this shit." I gave him a kiss.
"It only took a decade." He looked out at the water from our window.
For those who know me, y'all know I'm the definition of being stiff on a guy. Mike was my first boyfriend, my first for a lot of shit. He opened me up and filled me with love. Of course we had our moments where we questioned things—we even called it quits more than once. But we're meant to be and it's us forever and ever.
After sitting on the bed reminiscing, Trin and the twins came busting in our house. They told me everyone had settled in and they wanted us to come over because they had some games and stuff to play. The triplets had my energy drained, but I guess we have to be good hosts. Before changing and going over there, I asked one of them to grab my cornstarch out of the fridge—I needed a little snack.
