Song in multimedia: Beethoven- Moonlight Sonata, 1st Movement (don't sleep on this, it's 🔥 lol)
Tiana
After the early morning was spent preparing for my fathers home going, the family was just about ready. We all spent the night at my mothers so that we could get ready in one household. As I sat and got my makeup finished, I watched family members dressed in all white pass me one by one. In a long fitted dress, Aaliyah walked up to me with a camera on. Of course, she had to document everything.
"We're putting my uncle to rest in style, honey. This is one of his beautiful daughters, Princess Tiana. Dripped in diamonds." She showed off my dangly, diamond earrings along with the iced out watch I was wearing to match my fathers.
"Ooo, and the nails too. Get into the details of this black royalty." Aaliyah zoomed in on my nails.
"Aaliyah, find you something else to do, baby." Brooklyn said, putting on a pair of black shades outlined in diamonds.
"I'm a let you have it, boo." Aaliyah pointed and turned the camera off for a minute.
I don't know how to feel. I'm glad this work is over, but I'm not ready to move on and say goodbye. I'm not trying to see my father laying there for the last time. His body will literally be sealed in a vault and that's not sitting right with me. We had so much more work to do on a personal level and I feel like we didn't get much accomplished. I fucking regret holding a grudge against him and I should've let the past be the past.
"Head up, Soulja. We in this together." My uncle Keem nudged me.
"And that's a forever commitment." Uncle Dee held onto Brooklyn and Brandi.
"I don't wanna do this, man. I'd rather stay here." Brooklyn whined.
"That's your daddy, baby. Just come say goodbye and if you want to leave early, I'll walk out with you." Tee hugged her.
