Leo's POV:
I walk to my first college class of the year. I look around the room and see many chairs and desks. I keep scanning the room until I see a handsome man sitting in the back row. He seems to be writing in a book, I decide to walk up and introduce myself. As I walk into the class I can sense that he's an alpha, but I keep walking to him. My brain is telling me to stay away from him but my legs keep moving. As I am walking towards him I see him glance up at me a few times until I am at his desk.

Jake's POV:
I am writing notes in my journal and humming to myself until I smell an omega enter the room. I look up and see a short, blond man walking towards me. I decide to look back to my notes, hoping he didn't see me looking at him. I keep glancing at him as he gets closer. I look up again to see he is right in front of me. I can smell his pheromones fogging up the room, which made me think he is scared of something.

We looked at each other in silence, until the omega finally spoke up, "I'm Leo!" he said sticking out his hand.

"I'm Jake," I responded, shaking his hand. "Was there something you needed?" I said looking back to my journal.

"I wanted to ask if you wanted to be friends," he said as I looked back up at him, "-but we don't have to!"

"Sure, what's your number?" I said ripping out a page from my notes.

The omega started releasing pheromones that smelled really sweet, which made me assume he was happy. I handed him the paper, smiling at him. He wrote his number down and gave it to me. He seemed really sweet and I didn't want to hurt his feelings, so I decided to give him a chance.

"Can I sit next to you?" He said pointing at a chair.

I nodded and said, "Just don't bother me until class starts, I need to finish something important."

Once we stopped talking, people started to fill the room. I could tell there wasn't many omegas or betas in this class, but the room was full of alphas. I can't understand why the school would think putting a ton of alphas in a room together would be safe. All the angry and scared pheromones started overpowering the room, making me feel dizzy, until Leo touched my shoulder. When I felt his hand on my shoulder, my instincts told me he was my mate but I didn't know what to say to him, I just looked at him and gave him a smile. He let off more sweet smelling pheromones that covered up some of the other scents in the room. I started to feel less dizzy and held his hand. He seemed shocked but he didn't let go of my hand. We let go after a minute and started whispering while the class was going.

Leo POV:
Jake and I sat and whispered to each other while the professor was talking. We got to know each other pretty well by the end of the class. Once our the professor was done speaking to the class he let everyone leave, but we wanted to hang out longer, so we decided to get lunch. We got to a restaurant near campus and ordered some food. We talked to each other and started to learn each other's personalities. Jake seemed to be a sweet and helpful guy who is really smart.

I wanted to know about his family so I asked, "How many siblings do you have?"

"I have a sister named Hannah, and she is a beta. Then I have a brother named Colten that is an alpha." Jake said smiling. "Do you have any siblings?" He asked me.

"I have a twin sister named Angie, who is an omega. And my best friend named Max, an alpha, is like a brother to me." I said not realizing I was smiling now.

After a couple minutes we both had finished our food. We talked for a few more minutes after we were done eating but it started getting late.

"I have to go soon but I'm free all day tomorrow," Jake said with a disappointed look on his face.

"Ok have a good night!" I responded, trying not to look sad.

He walked out to his car as I headed over to my car. I decided to go home and get ready for tomorrow. Once I walked into my small apartment everything started spinning and I felt really hot. I realized my heat was coming and I needed to nest.
