Chapter 9: Twin Secrets

Leo's POV:
I spent the whole day with my family talking about everything except for my love life. I decided I wanted to get this news off my chest, so I asked Angie to come hang out in my room. I knew I could trust my twin with this important secret.

"Angie, I need to tell you something." I said looking her in the eyes.

"You can trust me, I promise!" She replied, sounding excited.

"I have a boyfriend who I found out is my mate."

"Good for you! Do you love him?" Angie asked interested.

"I love him with my whole heart, but I'm pregnant with triplets and I'm scared he will leave us if I tell him." I said with tears running down my cheeks.

"You're pregnant?! How far along?" She questioned as she started to hug me.

"About a month and a half, but I'm already starting to show." I said as I pulled up my shirt to show my small bump.

"Woah... can I touch?" My twin asked, looking at my stomach.

"Yeah." I replied, smiling.

She slowly touched my stomach and smiled at me. We hugged each other for a few minutes until I started to feel sick again. I ran to my bathroom and threw up, all the sudden I felt a hand rubbing my back and realized it was Angie.

"I've been a mess this past week." I said crying over the toilet bowl.

"Shhhhh. You'll be ok, all 4 of you." She commented, still rubbing my back.

Hearing I had Angie's support though this was calming. I felt tired so I said thanked Angie and headed to my room for a nap.

Jake's POV:
The party ended after a few hours and everyone went home. I felt a little tired so I quickly helped clean up and went to nap in my room. I looked at my phone to see if Leo had called or texted me yet, but there was nothing. I started feeling lonely and sad so I curled up in my bed and fell asleep.

I woke up to a ringing noise and looked at my phone. It was morning and Leo was calling me. I grabbed my phone and answered quickly.

"Hey Jake!" My mate said to me.

"Hi Baby!" I responded happily.

Leo's voice was calm and sweet. I wished he was here with me, even though I knew he couldn't bye.

"Merry Christmas Alpha!" He shouted into the phone.

I was confused until I finally realized it was Christmas day. Leo and I would both be home in each other's arms tomorrow.

"I can't wait to see you tomorrow, Leo." I stated to him.

"One more night apart...torture." He said, laughing.

"I have to get ready but I'll see you tomorrow!" I commented, getting off the bed.

"Bye Jake!" Leo said, hanging up.

I got dressed and headed downstairs to see my family. My mom was the only one in the kitchen so I grabbed something to eat.

Leo's POV:
After my call with Jake I got up and decided to take a shower. I looked in the mirror and saw my bump. It wasn't that big but I assumed it would be big enough for someone to notice. I got self conscious and quickly got in the shower. Once I was finished getting cleaned I got dressed and headed to the Christmas party.
