You and Jungkook were standing by the edge of the park, observing the sea that laid ahead. You thankfully had managed to change the conversation from your friends to the place and more specifically the port that the town had, where in its glorious days, used to welcome many boats and ships. Now not much is left to see but the stories of those hectic days at port and in town still lived between the older citizens.

It may have looked abnormal that you started talking about such stuff but he didn't seem to receive the change of subject negatively, instead he seemed rather interested in your words and was paying close attention to whatever was to come out of your mouth. So much attention it had started to make you alert, noticing his eyes on you all the time and the way his gaze traveled to your lips occasionally while still maintaining a flick of interest and excitement about what you were saying. Or so you convinced yourself that it was cause you didn't want to let yourself think not even for a second that his interest and excitement may be because of you and not your words.

You were unsure if you liked that to be the case. Yes, he seemed like a nice guy and you couldn't lie that he was pretty attractive and strangely you didn't feel uneasy at his presence despite him being a stranger. However still you didn't know anything about him and as such, liking him was far from the picture. Nonetheless being in friendly terms with him wouldn't hurt you and getting to know a new person can bring its own advantages.

"Do you know how to swim Y/N?" His question drove you out of your trail of thoughts and you looked his way before nodding your head.

"I learned at a young age. What about you?"

"I can't swim. I had chances to learn though but I never tried it...It is a bit regretful." He said as he watched towards the sea with a longing expression.

"Well, it's okay. It's never too late. You can still learn." You tried to encourage him and he turned and faced you with eyes light up from joy and for some reason, that expression made you want to laugh, as it was too cute and enjoyable. It was as if the sight of his happiness transferred the feeling to others as well.

"Can you teach me then? Since you learned since young, you must be very good at swimming." His request got you unprepared as you definitely weren't expecting for his thoughts to go there.

"Em...I mean, I could but I am not sure if I am the best choice. You could find better people to teach you. You know.. someone whom you would be more comfortable with." You showed your hesitation with your words, trying to present him with better options.

"I am totally comfortable with you. Don't worry." He however shut you down pretty easily with his claim.

"Tomorrow after work we can come and try or even right now. I wouldn't mind." Your eyes widened at his words making you panic a bit at the thought of you two swimming together.

"Now? We can't now. It's already night and besides, we don't have swimsuits on." You argued and he laughed as your nervousness was clear at the way you moved your hands while speaking.

"We don't need any. We can get in with our clothes on, or without. It's summer anyway, we won't catch any cold if we were to get wet."Jungkook seemed to be quiet serious about this idea as he placed his hands on the bottom of his shirt and tried to lift it up, however you quickly stopped him from taking it off by grabbing the sides of the shirt and pulling it back down. He looked at you surprised at your action and the close proximity you now had since you had stepped closer to him and for some reason you just stared at his eyes for a minute while you were at that close distance.

You weren't sure why but there was something in his eyes that was captivating, something that made you feel as if he can be trusted. And that feeling was really strange cause you had never met this guy before in your life.
