Decision

You stood there at the playground, waiting for your friends to arrive. You had texted them to come immediately as you knew who was behind everything, right after Jungkook had left. He had given you the chance to think and make a decision and you had done just that.

After a good ten minutes, the eight people started arriving one by one out of breath as they surely had hurried to get there and you just stayed quiet till the last of them arrived. It's been a long while since you had seen them all however they hadn't changed much in appearance.

"Y/N. What was that message about? Do you really know?" BongJu asked you as he stepped one or two steps closer to you and you raised your head and met his eyes.

"It's Jungkook. "You simply said and silence filled the atmosphere.

"Your boyfriend? How did he get to know at such detail"? DaeHo questioned then you threw your gaze at him making him take a hint of why he knew.

"No way. He is dead. Jungkook isn't-" He spoke his thoughts out loud and you could clearly see the panic that spread in the faces of each one of them.

"Y/N maybe you misunderstood or..or he is lying to you. He must have found your USB and seen it. Yes, that must be it." HaYoon spoke her denial as she didn't seem so accepting of the idea of him being alive.

"It's him. Jungkook is really him." You firmly stated as even if he was to have known all that knowledge of somewhere else as they were implying, the familiar feeling that you felt with him was undeniable.

"Okay. Let's stay calm. We can still solve this. He is dead by law and no matter what he says he doesn't have proof, right? As long as we all deny everything he may say-"EunJung started talking and you didn't hesitate to interrupt her as you were feeling sick that even now they were just trying to get away with it. No one seemed to even be thinking of saying the truth.

"We should just apologize instead. I know well that coming out to everyone and telling the truth is hard to do but at least we should apologize." You said the things you had concluded to as you knew well that even if you were brave enough, to tell the truth, you weren't the only one involved in this and you just weren't able to destroy the others along with you by revealing the truth. 

It was too big of a desition to take alone that was the reason why you had called them, in hopes of convincing them to apologize and maybe tell the truth as well. Knowing them, your hopes were too high however you wanted to try because you couldn't help but have an 'if' in your thoughts. A maybe.Maybe just like you they might be hiding their guilt too.Maybe just like you they must have regretted it too.

"Don't be silly Y/N. What would an apology do now? He is here for revenge." BongJu stated and soon the others started to agree with him.

"We just have to take care of him. Now that we know who he is, we know that he must have some fear for us still. He can use that"

" You are understanding the situation wrong. This is not as simple as it was back then. His texts say clearly that he will destroy our lives. Bringing the truth up may destroy our reputations in this town but not everywhere. Yet he sounded to absolute." DaeHo expressed his worry clearly as he felt like Jungkook was far from the person they used to bully.

"Are you saying that he might have something else down his sleeve?" EunJung questioned and you didn't hesitate to give her the answer.

"He has connections. He is rich too as far as I know. He definitely has the means and desire."Your words were scary but you left them like that purposely because you wanted them to feel the importance of the situation.

"What does he wants exactly? Maybe we can compromise." JiWon spoke up the first time since he had arrived despite the fact that he was usually super talkative.
