Chapter 5: Another day and another

America's POV

The day had passed fast yesterday while I was filling out some paperwork, I also had some papers to fill out for NASA. Japan had asked if I could hang out with her, but I was busy. Yesterday was boring, very boring with all the paperwork. New Zealand and Australia complained to me about me having to fill out all that paperwork, Canada was happy I was finally filling them out, Mom came by my room to ask if I needed anything, and England he said he like this son better than his other so called son. I know what he met by it. No one else knew except me. He was saying he liked it better when I'm doing important work instead of being "lazy" or "selfish" or whatever. When I finally went to bed everyone else had been asleep for awhile.

Today I woke up sightly out of bed, I was on my bed and not in bed, like I was falling out of bed while I was still in bed. I got up and checked my papers quickly making sure they were all filled out. After checking I got dress in a dark gray hoodie, dark blue jeans and I put my shades on. It felt casually for me and everyone usually sees me dress in dark colors, anyway. I put the paperwork in my bag, which is a one shoulder brown bag, as I slip the papers I see an old picture. I try to not look at it but I remembered that day so well, it was a few days before 9/11, before I was attacked by a something or someone, but I don't know who. I hear footsteps outside of my door, I take my phone out to check the time, 7:05. I need to get these papers to where they need to be, but I also want breakfast. Eh I'll eat breakfast later. I put my phone away in my bag. I look on my desk and on the floor to make sure I didn't miss anything important. I stood up and went to the door, I placed my hand on the door knob then pushed the door up.

I quickly and quietly walk down the hall and stairs. I Mom and England in the kitchen, Mom turns around and sees me trying to sneak out. Mom made a confused look."L'Amérique, ma chérie? Où allez-vous si tôt?" Mom asked. "Hi Mom, I just need to turn the paperwork I was working on, I though it might have been a good idea to turn them in early," I said "That does sound like a good idea," England said. I know he just likes me out of the house, I like hiding in my room so I don't have to face another day after another day. I nodded my head and Mom sighed "Okay, you can go," Mom finally said. I smiled to her then went to the door, I put hand on the door knob and pushed it open to leave. When I stepped outside, my smiled had faded, it wasn't that it was cold or anything else, but I just have to face the day earlier than I usually do. I start walking to where I have to go first, which is the business then I'll go to NASA.

I went to a restaurant to get breakfast, but it wan time for lunch, so I went to my favorite place to eat at. McDonald's. I got my usual, a big Mac, fries, and soda. After I ate, I went to walk home. While I was walking, I see Japan talking to China, the Korean brothers, Germany, Poland, and Rus-. Oh great! Russia is trying to steal my friends, well China and N.Korea don't really like me, S.Korea and I aren't really friends with each other, we'll talk every now and then, but we aren't really friends. Japan sees me, so does the group, I keep walking acting like I didn't see them, but I hear Japan calling my name, but I keep walking, until I hear footsteps behind me. I turn around to see Japan. "Hi America-kun!" "Hi Japan, how are you doing?" "Good, do you want to hang out with me?" Shoot I don't have a good reason and I already turned in the paperwork. "Sure, why not?" I said with a fake smile on my face. I walk with Japan already regretting agreeing. I said my "hellos" to everyone, even Russia just to be nice, he gave me this look like he might kill. I don't like it when anyone gives me that look.

Nothing really happened while we hanged out, I had to text Canada where I was, because he was texting me at a unstoppable speed, until I texted him back. We ate some food at a cafe, which I go to every now and then, we talked about what has happen, I didn't say anything about England, but I did told them how I was stuck doing paperwork yesterday, which Russia made a joke of, saying something like "Oh are you kidding me, we all know you didn't!" But he said it in his language. Everyone laughed at his joke, except for Japan and me. Soon it started to get dark, so we all went home. When I got home, I ate dinner, took a shower, and went to bed.
