Chapter 2: Building the saferooms

Russia's POV

Today's Saturday, the day after the meeting and the day before help building the saferooms. EU is a son of a bitch. I swear he is, he asked me to help him out on a day I was busy,I had many paperwork to fill out, but of course he must ask me and say he won't ask me any more favors if I help build the saferooms.

Yesterday I saw America, nothing special about him, but there's something I don't understand about him. It's just he mostly hangs out with his brothers, Japan, Spain, Philippines, my sisters, Germany and Poland. He hardly ever talks to any other country. Isn't he friends with everyone? He is so why only hang out with only them? I hate him, but everyone else loves him and hates me He's an idiot. I better stop thinking about America or else I might get a headache.

I get ready for the day and lay out clothes for tomorrow.I walk out of my room to get this horrible day over with, before I got put of my room I looked at a picture of my two Dads, Ukraine, Belarus, Germany and me before the war. Why did that war have to begin and how did it start? They were happy, we're all happy, even if USSR was super strict and got drunk, we're still happy. I walk out of my room to met by Belarus and Ukraine. Germany does live with us, he just has a lot of paperwork and stuff to do all the time."Good morning, Russia" I look at Ukraine who said that."Good morning Ukraine" I turn my attention to Belarus, "Good morning Belarus" "Oh good morning Bro."Belarus said with a smile. "Breakfast is ready."Ukraine said while sitting at the table with a plate with food in front of her.

The rest of the day nothing special happened. I did get to Germany today before he lefted to meet up with someone. I took a walk in the park before going home to go to bed. When I got home I made sure to have everything ready for tomorrow and I set an alarm, since I hope I can get there early. My sister's know I'm leaving tomorrow to help with the building. Ukraine said if there's an earthquake tomorrow while I'm helping building the saferooms she'll sue EU, I believe she'll do that, we all have each other's backs ever since our dads death, it still feels so recent but it was awhile ago. When my head hir my pillow I fell right to sleep.

The next day

I woke to the sound of my alarm I reached over to my phone to turn off the alarm. I had set my alarm on my nightstand that is right beside my bed. I get ready for the day. I look around my room to make sure everything is where must be and if I have everything, good I do. I look at the time it's 8:59 am, I have time to make myself breakfast, actually I still have 3 hours left. I quickly grab something from the fridge, heat up, eat it then left to go the meeting spot. It is a long walk, I should call a cab. When I got out I called a cab, told them where I'm going and got there pretty quickly. I paid the cab, got out into the slightly cold air of the outside. I again checked my phone, 10:35 am, but it was- nevermind. I look up to see some other countries, Georgia, Bulgaria, Norway, Brazil, Cuba, Jamaica, China, Finland, Yemen, Am- no, this can't be right. He must be here by mistake, America turned around to see me, I can see he isn't happy that I'm here. He walks up to me, oh great. "What the hell are you doing here!?" America slightly yells not raising his voice that loud to cause any attention, which I was greatful for."Me!?What the fuck do you think you're doing here!" "Wait..." He rubs where his nose would be, "Let me guess EU asked you to help with the saferooms." "He did" "Just great." He finally walks off. Great, this just wonderful I have to help with the saferooms with him.I saw America go walk off to a coner of the room and pulled out his phone, what the hell! He can talk to anyone in this room and he chooses to get on his phone, if I had any friends I would have talked to them, but nope! No friends for me. I go find a chair to sit at while waiting for this to get started. 

A while of waiting, I finally see EU. Wait he has a megaphone in his hand. He looks around before talking into the megaphone."OKAY EVERYONE QUIET DOWN!!" The room gets quiet down pretty quickly, I see America look up from his phone, then put his phone in his pocket. I just now realized America hadn't said a word after we both 'talked' to each other. "GOOD, GOOD EVENING EVERYONE!" EU still is talking into megaphone even though the whole room is quiet. "YOU ALL KNOW WHY YOU ARE HERE, I HOPE YOU DO." Of course we all know why. "OKAY SO YOU'LL ALL BE PLACED INTO A GROUP OF 4 COUNTRIES PER SAFE ROOM, SO THIS CAN GO FASTER AND EACH SAFE ROOM WON'T BE CROWED WITH COUNTRIES!" EU started to call off names on his list of groups and told them with room they'll be working on. The room is now only filled with only a few countries now, names are still being called and EU finally had put the megaphone down. "Russia, China, Japan and America!" YOU GOT TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME! I look over to America who looks upset and confused at the same time, I look over to China who doesn't have an expression, then I finally see Japan who of corse looks happy. I get up from the couch to walk up to EU, Japan and China did the same, America was close enough. "Okay you guys must work on room 420." I nod and all 4 of us walk down to the room.

When we get to the room we read the blueprints and decided each of us will have a part of the room to work, China works on the top left part of the room,Japan works on the bottom left of the room, America works on bottom right of the room and I'll work on top right of the room. We all get started initially with very few talking, except Japan she kept talking, China would usually respond to her ever so often. America surprisingly didn't say that much at all. "Hey America-kun are you okay?" Japan said with a worried tone. "......." America didn't respond it was like he couldn't hear anything. I look over to America, I see his plain expression, he must be thinking of something. It's hard to tell since he has his shades on. Japan walked over her tail swaying down low. "America-kun? Are you alright?" She placed her hand on his shoulder and he jumped a bit "Huh? Oh um... Yeah I'm okay, sorry zoned out." America finally said with a awkward smile on his face. I look at him a bit more before going back to doing what I did.

Japan and China got finished first. They left America and me to get drinks. Since there wasn't any drinks here they had to get out and leave. "You almost done Russia?" I look over to America who had did a pretty good job of his part and looked about halfway done. "Uh yeah close to being finished." I finally said. "It's almost 2:30, EU said this should be hopefully done at 3." I can now see why we only had 3 hours. I just hummed in response. I saw America texted someone in the corner of my eye. America put his phone away then went back to work. Dang he is fast! I kept working. "America-kun! Russia-kun! We got you guys water!" Japan yelled while skipping into the room. She handed America then me a water bottle. "Thanks Japan" thanked America. I just hummed a thanks. Japan sat down on couch her and China made. China had helped Japan to make it easier for her. God, why can't she shut up! She started talking some anima about some heros and a school for heros. America seemed to not have noticed Japan was talking because he was still working. I soon went back to work. Wait I just now realized, China isn't here. EU had mentioned that no one could leave until it was time or everyone gets finished early. Unless he's helping someone else.

America finished before me, it didn't take me long after he finishes for me to finish. We walked out of the room in almost quietness, Japan was still talking about who knows what. America isn't talking that much, which is very strange for him. "America-kun you haven't talked that much, which is unusual for, are you sure your okay?" Japan finally said something other than anima. "Yeah it's just a picture I saw that was just off to me, ya know? When you see something that you know is just off and you can't get your mind off it?" America said while expressing it with his hands, I walk past them to just get out of that conversation. So that's why America was acting werid of a stupid picture! Why is America a big idiot!? I can look at a picture that confuses me but then I go on with my day. "Ah Russia! You must have gotten done." I was interrupted from my thoughts by EU. "Yeah, so did America. So are we done here?" "Yes and no" I got a little angry when he said that he also told there won't be anything else other than what we were doing today. "I did say that this would be all and it is. I just am waiting until all countries are done,just so in case a country needs help I can get them help from any country that's already done, we're only waiting for a couple of countries." I nod my head then go sit down on the couch. I hear Japan and America talking, I liked it better when he wasn't talking he's just so annoying. 

It's been awhile and the last of the countries had finished. EU dismissed us to go home. I called a cab to go home. When I get home I pay the cab and go inside my house. I see Germany, Belarus and Ukraine were all on the couch watching ice hockey. " Hallo Russland, wie ist es gelaufen?" Germany said still watching the ice hockey. "хорошо" I responded "Вы выглядаеце стомленым" Belarus said turned around and looking at me. "I am tired, it was longer than what was supposed to be." I said. "You should go to bed." Ukraine said "What are you my Mom?" "Well now I am, if I have to be." I let a small chuckle. "Вы не должны сказать мне дважды" I said while heading to my room. I changed clothes then went to sleep after a long day of work.

Okay so I used a Google translator to figure out how to say that stuff, so if it is incorrect I'm really sorry, I has did the last of this while I'm really tired so it may have spelling errors. Also it just took me a while to remember how to spell errors, I'm THAT tired. If you don't know the languages that I put in...please don't ask me someone might know, I'm just going to be super tired for awhile since I have school. Oh boy oh boy school... Ugh... I really should get some sly I have to get up early and I usually wake up earlier than my alarm.
