Cas had to take a step outside. He couldn't take it. He loved Felicity and now she was gone. He couldn't lose her. He'd get her back. He'd do anything.
He was pacing in the library, trying to keep his cool. Panicking wouldn't get him anywhere. Dean found him in there and approached him.
"Cas, you've gotta relax."
"Relax? Relax, Dean? How do you suggest I do that?"
"Listen to me, man. Freaking out won't get her back. I'm thinking maybe we can find a way to kill this thing without hurting Felicity. It might be a long shot, but we should try."
"Do you really think we can find a way?"
"I do. There's gotta be. You just need to believe."
"Believe? Believe in what? Miracles? Because that's what it will take."
"Yeah, I know," He muttered. "Are you sure there aren't any enochian spells or something that we can try?"
"I am not certain. Perhaps."
"Well, get back to me on that. We could use that."
They suddenly heard Sam calling for them from the dungeon. They quickly went to see what was going on.
"Sammy! What is it?" Dean yelled.
They reached the hidden room where Sam was monitoring Zozo. She was whispering something, but they weren't sure what.
"I don't know. I think she's doing a spell or something."
"A spell?" Cas repeated. "What is she saying?"
"I can't tell. I think it's enochian."
Cas listened closely to what she was saying. It was enochian. And it was a spell.
"She is informing Django of her location."
"She's doing what?" Dean shouted.
"She's telling Django where the bunker is."
"How? How do they have a connection?"
"I'm not sure, but that's what she's doing."
"Does that mean Django's coming here?"
"I don't know. But I do know it's not a good thing that she's communing with him."
"Well, obviously!"
Zozo suddenly cried out in pain. They all looked at her. She was slumped over in the chair, breathing heavily.
"What's going on?" Dean asked.
"I'm not sure. It could be a trick." Cas answered.
She suddenly started coughing up smoke. There was smoke pouring from her eyes as well.
"What the hell?" Dean muttered.
"Do you think the spell, or whatever it is, went wrong?" Sam wondered.
"No," Cas replied. "There's something else happening here. I'm not sure what."
All of a sudden, her eyes glowed blue and she screamed. She continued to scream until she blacked out, unconscious.
"What was that?" Sam asked.
"Is... is she dead?" Dean asked.
"I doubt it," Cas mumbled, unable to tear his gaze away from her. He approached her and felt her neck to check her pulse. "Felicity is alive. But I'm not sure if that means Zozo is as well."
"Well, there's only one way to find out." Dean got his flask of holy water and sprinkled some on her. She didn't react to it, which suggested she was completely human. Well, half human, half angel. But no demon.
"This is a powerful demon, Dean. Who's to say she isn't invulnerable to holy water?"
"Well, excuse me for trying!"
Cas sighed lightly. "I know. It's just my nerves. I... I only want this to end. Is that so much to ask?"
"Trust me, I get where you're coming from."
Cas looked back at Felicity, trying to get a glimpse of her true form. If there was a demon in her, he'd see it.
"I see no demon. There's no demon. She's nothing but a fledgling now. There's no demon." He couldn't have been more relieved.
"I hate to burst your bubble, but while there may be no demon, we still have that little prayer to worry about."
"What killed the demon?" Cas thought aloud.
"What?"
"The demon is dead, what could've killed it?"
"It could just be gone."
"The way it dispersed smoke like that, the glowing blue eyes, I believe the demon is dead."
"What about Django? She was making contact with him, does that mean we have him to worry about?"
"I'm not sure. We will have to wait and see."
"Wait and see. Sounds like a plan."
Felicity suddenly began to stir. She looked up at them with frightened, wild eyes.
Cas knelt beside her. "Felicity, are you alright?"
She didn't say anything. She just kept looking between him, Sam, and Dean.
"El, it's okay," Sam tried to comfort her. "The demon's dead. It's gone now."
She remained silent, the fear plain on her face.
"Felicity, look at me," Cas cupped her face in his hands. "It's okay. It's going to be okay. I promise. Have I ever broken a promise?"
He suddenly realized something he hadn't before. Her eyes. They weren't black anymore. But they weren't grey, either.
They were green.
"Where am I?" She asked terrified. "I don't know where I am. I... I don't know where I am." She was about to cry.
"You're in the bunker. Remember? In the dungeon. Don't you remember, Felicity?"
"I... I'm not... F-Felicity."
"Then who are you?" Dean asked.
"M-my name is... Abigail. I... I thought I was shot. Am I dead?"
"Abigail?" Cas repeated.
"Yes. The demon, Zozo, she's dead then?"
