I awoke to sunlight streaming through the curtains. My eyes quickly adjusted to the brightness. Castiel was still asleep beside me. I smiled tiredly, kissing his forehead.

"Good morning, lover." I whispered.

I brushed my fingers through his dark ruffled hair. I began to think about what he said about not being able to dream. I decided to change that. If I'm really as powerful as Django claims I am, surely I can put an end to Castiel's dreamlessness.

I focused all my energy until I was in his dream; the one I had just created. We were at a river bank, watching the babbling brook. Behind us was a dense forest, and beyond the opposite side of the river was an open field.

Castiel looked to me. "What happened?"

I smiled. "You're dreaming, Castiel."

"How?"

"You're welcome."

"You gave me this dream?"

I nodded. "Do you like it? I just came up with it on a whim."

"It is nice. Thank you," There was a pause before he started to speak again. "This is not my first dream."

I furrowed my brows. "What do you mean?"

He sighed lightly. "Remember? When I saw your... your eyes turn black? When the demon took over?"

I nodded. "Right. That."

"And I told you about... your wings. How they disintegrated."

"They haven't yet, Castiel."

"That's just it. Yet. I saw your eyes turn black, and the next day, that demon took over. I saw your wings disintegrate. And I have a feeling that shall come to pass as well."

I sighed and put my hands on his shoulders. "You shouldn't focus on the negative, Castiel. Think about the positive. If you dwell on what could happen, you'll miss everything that is happening, all around you." I kissed him, him kissing me back.

He broke free. "I'd like to wake up now."

I frowned slightly and nodded. "Okay."

And just like that, we were in the motel room, holding each other in the bed.

I smiled half heartedly. "Rise and shine, lover."

He grinned back at me. "Good morning." He pecked my lips.

I smirked. "You look so different without that trench coat of yours."

He seemed to realize that he wasn't wearing his coat. "Oh, yes. Where did you put it?"

I chuckled silently. "Your precious trench coat is on the coat rack by the door."

He half smiled. "I can get it later. For now, I'm happy here with you."

I returned the smile and kissed him gently. We continued to kiss for a while until I broke free.

"Gerald. I think he's a witch. Either him or Linda."

"What makes you so sure?"

"They've got a lot of voodoo going on in their closet. Pictures of four women, three of which have red X's in them."

"What about the fourth? Did you know who she was?"

"No. I could deduct her a little, but I couldn't find any important details."

"Perhaps we should find Linda. We can ask her about it."

"Sounds like a plan."

Castiel retrieved his trench coat from the rack and once I put on my red leather jacket in order to hide my wings, we went to the town where Linda was at. We ended up a couple blocks away.

"Sorry, I'm still working on my landing." I apologized.

"It is fine. We can walk from here."

We started walking to Linda's until I started to get the feeling Castiel wasn't following me. I turned around and saw him looking through a shop window.

"You coming?" I called.

He glanced over at me briefly before looking back at the window. "I have never seen anything like this before."

I smiled to myself; an angel of The Lord, window shopping. I went back to where he was and looked into the window. It was a pet store. In the window were at least five or six puppies.

"Castiel, it's a pet store." I chuckled.

"What is it's purpose?"

"It's a store where you buy a pet. Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, all kinds of them."

He looked down at me; I was two inches shorter than him. "Do you think we can purchase one?"

I looked up at him with slightly widened eyes. "What?"

"These canines don't deserve to be behind glass. I think we should purchase one."

"Uh... Castiel, if we go to the bunker with a puppy, Dean will kill me."

"He wouldn't do such a thing."

"It's a figure of speech! Castiel, we can't get a dog!"

He sighed and looked back at the puppies. I looked at them as well. They were kind of cute. Especially the little beagle puppy that was copying all the others. When one of them barked, she would bark. When one of them scratched behind their ear, she would do the same.

I noticed Castiel was watching that one as well, a small grin lighting up his face. At that point, I finally caved.

I sighed lightly. "We'll come back later, then."

He looked down at me. "Pardon?"

"You heard me. We can come back for the beagle I know you've got your eye on."

He smiled, but tried to hide it. "Okay. Thank you."

I smiled back. "No problem, lover."

He leaned down and kissed me. "Let's find Linda."

We arrived at the house Linda was allegedly staying at. It was a nice little place, for a possible witch.

I knocked on the door, but no one answered. I knocked again.

"Hello? Bailee Turner?" I called. Nothing.

I looked up at Castiel. We exchanged soulful looks before I stepped back and kicked the door in.

The first thing I saw was the blood. It was everywhere. Then the body. Then the hole in her chest where her heart used to be.

"Oh my god!" I gaped, covering my mouth with my hand.

"This was a werewolf attack." Castiel observed.

"It happened overnight. I can tell, judging by... the body and the blood; how dry it is. But... the symbols, the photos, it all smelled like a witch. Why drag a werewolf into the equation?"

Castiel just shook his head slightly. "I am not sure I know."

"Was this Linda or her sister, Bailee? I can't be sure, I've never seen either of them."

"I cannot be sure of that, either."

"I'll text Dean." I got my phone from my pocket and texted him.

F: Forget everything I told you. Found body. WEREWOLF ATTACK.
