Part 13: Times Up

Ink POV
I kept Pj and Gradient home for a while. I don't want to risk anything.
  They're getting bored here. Or at least Pj is.
  Grey just wants to hang out with Coco again. I decided to have CQ take them out for a bit. She agreed.
  "Hi gramma!" Pj said when she walked in.
  Grey was napping on the chair.
  "Hi!" She responded.
  Grey was reluctant to go without me but got in the car anyway.
  "Be safe..." I said as they left.
  Error is at work so it's just me and Penny. I drew and got some cash from commissions. 
  I kept biting my fingers. I thought I was over that. I didn't even realize it til blood dropped onto the floor.
  I sighed, cleaned it up, and paced around the living room. I am still very nervous. What If those people get to them?
  What if I'm not there to protect them!?
  Someone knocked on the door. I jumped at the sudden sound. Penny jumped to but excitedly.
  Error walked in.
  "Hi..." i said.
  "Hey."
  He picked me up, kissed me, and held me bridal style. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck.
  "Where's Pj and Grey?" He asked.
  "Your mom took em out for the day." I responded.
  He smirked. I giggled.
  "No. Not right now. I've got more drawings to finish."
  "Mmm no! Finish them later."
  I laughed as he kissed my cheek and neck. Penny barked and jumped around. Error sat down with me. He still didn't let me go.
  I got a text. Mystery number?
  It was a video. They were right behind my kids! We both screamed as they shot at Errors mom and actually got her leg. And that's how it ended.
