Warning: mention of smoking, alcohol, abuse, and drug use.
Also I'd like to point out, I'm fine. None of this has ever happened to me but I have heard about it.

Young Ink POV
After Zephyr left I was all alone in an unloving house. Either left alone or getting bruised.
I ran away every other week it seemed but they always found me. Didn't help that I hid in the same place.
I did find some happiness in causing trouble with my 'friends'. Well, they weren't friends as much as they were a club.
It was usually me, Dream, Blue, Lust, Horror, and sometimes Nightmare If he and Dream got along that day.
We mainly pulled pranks, tortured other kids, smoked, drank.
I'm not proud of it but, I was like, the leader of the group.
I'd always act tough but deep down I was terrified.
I was terrified to go home.
Dad's weapon of choice was always something metal. Mom just sort of watched and sometimes she'd slap me.
They'd refuse to let me eat for days sometimes. Just giving me the bare minimum to survive.
They always blamed everything on me.
Once one of them got fired and they both took it out on me. I couldn't walk for six weeks after they broke my leg.
Dad was a doctor and put a cast on my leg just so people wouldn't get suspicious. My group knew though.
They'd always give me some...drug to calm me.
By the time I was in middle school I'd been to jail a few times for beating up a few kids that hurt my group and using heroin.
I spent most of eighth grade in rehab. Had to repeat it.
Kids were scared of me. And that's why my group did as I said. They were scared to.
The summer before I went to high school my dad shot my leg and ribcage.
Blue was there and that made him so angry that he helped me give them a taste of it.
He shot my dad right in the shoulder blade then took me to the hospital. We tried telling police but there was no evidence and the most they did search my house.
It only got worse. Then I met Error and my life seemed to turn around for the better.

Present Ink POV
"That's all you need to know for now. You're to young to hear what happened in high school." I said.
"So like...where are they?" Pj asked.
  "Dead." I replied.
  "...excuse me- what?" Grey asked.
"It's a long story that you never need to know." Error told them.
"Awww ma please tell us!" Pj begged.
  I sighed.
  "Well...I guess..."
  Grey got up.
  "Nope." He said.
He kept saying that as he climbed on top of the fridge and stayed there.
Pj looked up to me and repositioned himself to be more comfortable.
  Error went to the roof.
  "I'm listening." Pj said.
