Part 29: Better

Ink POV
  Error did as he promised and stayed home with me. I told him he didn't have to and he disagreed.
"Ink, I'm not leaving you alone. Not when you feel like this." He said.
"I can take care of myself." I protested.
"Clearly." He mumbled.
  I laughed.
  "Awww you care about meeeee." I teased.
  "Pf. Where'd you get that idea?" He joked.
  I know he's joking but that still scared me. I was silent for a few seconds.
  "I...inky?"
  I started crying.
  He hugged me tightly.
  "Wait- no! I was kidding! I'm sorry! I love you!" He assured me.
  "I know..." I sobbed.
  He kissed me and hugged me and eventually when I didn't stop he started crying to.
  "Why are you crying!?" I asked.
  "Because I didn't mean to make you sad I was joking! I love my Inkyyyy." He cried.
  He hadn't let me go. We spent about twenty minutes crying together. Penny tried cheering us up and then he made me ramen noodles so I was ok.

Gradient POV
  I decided to talk to Pj. He was happy on his own though. Playing a game on his phone.
  I sat next to him.
  "Hey.. I'm sorry I made you go with me." He said.
  "It's fine.." I replied.
  He showed me the game he was playing. He wasn't very good at it so I helped him. We actually had a lot of fun and it felt like it always did.
We seemed to both forget about it.
Uncle Zephyr didn't really come home that night. We didn't question it but I was kinda anxious.
Every sound and sudden movement kept me awake which was bad because I didn't sleep last night either. Pj on the other hand had no problem falling asleep.
I swear he could sleep anywhere.

Error POV
I gave Ink her pill but she refused to take it so I tricked her. I felt bad about it but I want her to get better.
"...I miss my babies..." she said.
I smiled and tried to get her to smile to.
"I know Inky. But they'll be back soon. And hey, ya got me."
She smiled slightly.
"Yeah...you...you do love me though, right?" She asked.
"Yes. More than anything I love you and them." I said.
