Part 23: arguing

Gradient POV
  Pj woke me up. He told me to be quiet. I was. I could hear mama and dad arguing. I got scared.
  No! No they can't be arguing! That never ends well.
  "Why the hell wouldn't you eat!? Do you have any fucking idea how much that hurts you!?"
  "Oh lay off! You didn't notice." Ma argued.
  "And you didn't tell me!" Dad half yelled.
  We looked out into the sitting room. Dad was holding her back from leaving.
  "Ink do you know what I'd do if I lost you!? Do you remember what happened to me when Lust took you!? How badly that hurt!?" Mama froze. "I could barely take it then! If you were gone forever I-I-I... I don't know if I'd be able to go on."
  He was trying to hold back sobbing. Mama left, slamming the door and dad fell to the ground and just let it out.
  I started crying to. Pj ran out to chase mama.
  Dad stopped us. I hugged dad. He hugged back.
  "Why'd you stop me I could've caught her!" Pj hollered.
  "S...she needs to think. Be on her own..."
  "Dad...d-did mama leave us?" I asked.
  "No! No Grey! She didn't! She would never do that to us." He said, making sure I looked him directly in the eyes.
  Pj was crying by now. Not much but enough to get our attention.
  "P...Pj...?" I asked.
  He angrily went to the roof. I decided not to fallow him.
  "D-dad I'm going to Coco's...I'm gonna spend the night."
  "Yeah...yeah ok. Have fun. Want me to take you?"
  "No..I want you to make sure Pj's ok."
  He nodded. I left and texted my Coco bean. He was excited as always. He said he painted his 'nails' (or, where his nails would be) neon blue.
  His dad helped him. I smiled and blushed at the numerous pictures he sent of him posing with it. 
  So cute.

Ink POV
  To cold for this shit. I love Error. I know he's just trying to help. But I just... it's not a problem with weight or anything like that.
  The reason I don't eat often is because I'm to anxious. If I try I'll either puke it up -not willingly- or just... gag. I can't.
  I felt hot tears of frustration fall from my eyes.
  Ugh! I'm so stupid! Worthless! I'm so fucking pathetic. Why do Error and Grey and Pj even care about me!?
  I looked at my rings. First I saw the one Error got me for our first Christmas together. Then to my wedding ring.
  I smiled thinking about the time we spent in New York. High School. Ah I remember meeting him like it was yesterday.
  I was so...confused and yet, he made me feel safe.
  I protected him and still do. And he keeps me safe and happy.
  I decided to call Zephyr.
  "Hey Ink, what's up?" He asked.
  "Hey Zeph. Uh, listen... how'd you like to take the kids for a week?" I asked.
  "Woah really? That's be awesome! You can send em here Saturday!" He answered.
  He paused for a second.
  "Have you been cryin?" He asked.
  "Yeah. I've been having a hard few weeks. I'm fine though. Really."
  I hung up and decided to go home. I think I worried my boys a bit. Error was sobbing and I noticed the kids watching us argue.
  When I got home I noticed immediately Grey wasn't there.
  Error looked up when he heard the door close. Still crying. Jeez I worried him that much?
  He ran to me and hugged me and kissed me and kissed my cheek.
  "Stars I was so worried about you!" He whispered.
  He kissed me again. I held his face and wiped away his tears.
  "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry I-I didn't wanna worry you." I said.
  He kissed and hugged me again. I hugged back.
  Pj looked at me. He was mad.
  I kneeled down to his eye level.
  "Pj, baby I'm so sorry." I said, putting my hands on his shoulders.
  His expression softened and he hugged me.
  "Ma I'm glad you're back Grey and I thought you'd left us." He cried.
  I kissed his cheek.
  "No no. I'm here now baby. I'm here. Where is Grey?" I asked.
  Error said he went to Coco's.
  I went over there just to let him know I'm home. He seemed relieved and I left after talking with Dream and Blue.
  I told Error why I hadn't been eating to.
  "Oh...oh Inky..."
  "I know, I know. I'll...try to fix it."
  "Honey you should've told me I would've helped you..."
  "I know....oh, and Zeph said he'd spent next week with the kids."
  Error was reluctant on that but agreed to let them go.
