(A/N FUUUUUCK I know these are taking so long to come out I'm so sorry!!)
Encre's P.O.V
We stayed outside in the garden for a little while longer. It was well kept and aged, almost like the old gardens in the books I've read. Eventually, I started to get cold so we headed back into the castle. It was still quiet, but it was a nice gentle quiet. After Suave had taken mine and Fallacy's coats, Fallacy swept me off my feet and carried me to our room setting me down gently.
"I'd prefer a little more of a warning before you do that my love." I cooed sweetly in his 'ear'. "Apologies, I was just a bit cold and wanted you to be alone with me." Fallacy smiled. I pulled him down for a brief kiss before letting him go. "Now just because we came back in, doesn't mean I'm going to let you go straight back to your study." I told him firmly.
"You sound as if I'm your own child." he said placing his hand on my belly. "You know I'm at least a little over 25 times your age."
"Yes, yes, I know. But your age doesn't make up for childish behaviour."
"I do not act like a child." He retorted. "You'd be quite surprised. People have a tendency to not notice their own behaviours unless they're called out." he sighed defeated. "You really are going to be a great mother." I pulled him back down to lay beside me, smiling at his little note. Fallacy smiled back at me putting his hand on my cheek. "well, you'll be a good father." Fallacy smiled, looking into my eyes and could have sworn I saw doubt in them. "I... I don't know about that." he said half-heartedly. "what do you mean?"
"either its because of his age or I messed up, because Jasper has always been so distant from me." I sighed and smiled patiently. "I'm sure it's just a phase darling."
"You think?" I nodded. "your just overthinking." he smiled back at me. "if you say so." Fallacy replied.

Fallacy seemed much more pleasant for the past few weeks. he cut back on a lot of work, I've been able to get him to fall asleep at more reasonable hours. I was currently sitting in front of the fireplace humming a lullaby quietly. I was quite content with the child I was going to give birth to. even though It felt a little strange seeing as how myself and fallacy weren't even married, let alone engaged... but with that aside I was still happy. If fallacy proposed to me while I'm pregnant, that's fine. If he did it after they were born, same thing. I don't care, I'll still love him all the same. I was brought out of my thoughts by a knock at the castle door. I looked in that direction and suave had gone to get it. when the door opened, there was a little boy who looked about 10 years old in mortal years. He handed suave something. I couldn't quite catch what they were saying, but I heard the word 'ring' said. I smiled looking back to the fire hoping it was what I had thought. I couldn't help the giddy emotions that filled me.
"Encre?" I looked to the familiar voice and sighed lightly. "yes fallacy?" He smiled. "you mind getting your winter clothes on and coming out to the garden with me?" I smiled standing up and reaching my arms to rest on his shoulders. "what for my dear?"
"nothing too special. I just want to ask you something important." I smiled. "I suppose. I'll just be a few-" Fallacy picked me up bridal style. "minuets?" I gigled. "yes. you know I can walk right?"
"I'd rather carry you."
"I'm pregnant, not helpless fallacy." Fallacy smiled. "I know Encre." Fallacy carried me to the door, where suave got our coats. while I was adjusting my coat, from the corner of my eye I saw suave handing fallacy a little box smiling. that must have been what the boy had given suave just moments ago. Fallacy opened the door for me, and we went out.
It was a little brisk. but not to bad. we wandered through the garden. I was taken back once more at it's beauty. even in the winter, white roses, frost flowers and holly still persisted through the cold. sometimes it seemed like a labyrinth. we reached what I was pretty sure was the centre, where a fountain sat silently with elegant patterns engraved in the cold stone it had been made of. fallacy smiled while I traced my hand along it. "you know, I can't exactly remember when this fountain was built. I was so young at the time that I didn't even understand what this was."
"really? must be pretty old then." I said sitting down on the edge looking at the ice that had frozen to the bottom. "it's also the same place I propose to jasper's mother." Fallacy said moving in front of me. "and, the same place I will have done the same for you." I looked to him my eyes widened at what he had just said. and sure enough, he got down on one knee, holding the box up and opening it revealing a ring. Despite the fact I had a feeling this was going to happen, tear of happiness welled in my eyes. "will you marry me Encre?" I covered my mouth as the tears began to fall. "am I-" I cut fallacy off by tackle hugging him, followed with a kiss. "yes! a thousand times yes!" He seemed slightly surprised by my reaction but kissed me when I finished talking. when we separated from the kiss, he slipped the ring onto my finger. the ring itself was amazing. It was gold with silver accents and a blood ruby. "do you like the ring love?"
"yes, it's beautiful." He stood up helping me up aswell. I brushed the snow off my dress. I looked up at fallacy lovingly, as he brought me close for another kiss.
