(A/N ok, so! ummm... I don't have anything to say. swear warning.)

Fallacy's P.O.V

I wake up what I assume to be a few hours after myself and Encre had fallen asleep. I get out of bed doing my best to not wake or disturb Encre. I put clothes on and kiss Encre's fore head. "I'll be back." I whispered. I left the room. I went down the hall to the east wing where Encre's friend Thorn was reviving treatment. I hear piano music and quiet singing. I turned to the room where it was coming from. and there she was. "Thorn." she flinched and abruptly stopped playing. "Y- yes your highness?" I cringed at that title. "first of all," I began. "don't address me as 'your highness'. just call me Fallacy. second, you shouldn't up. you lost a lot of blood."

"R- right." She looked back down at the piano keys. "Fallacy..." I was caught off guard by this and I'm not sure why. "yes?" she was quiet for a moment. she then spoke. "why did you keep Encre?" she questioned standing up to look directly at me. She must of had some grudge against vampires. there was fire in her eyes. I looked at the floor. 'she's got me.' I thought. "WELL?" her voice was louder. I remained silent. at this point I wanted to kill her. she had hit a part of me I thought I had closed off. I'm only holding my blood lust back because of her significance to Encre. "just as I thought... your all the same." I looked up. she focused her glare to the floor. "my family was killed by vampires and when I asked the one who spared me why..." she paused. she took something out from her pocket and put it around her neck. "It handed me this. It was wrapped in fabric. it too didn't say anything." It was a crucifix made of pure silver. (A/N if u didn't know, vampires can't touch pure silver without being burned and they can't be in close proximity to crucifixes.) "fine." I said. "just, put that thing away." she did as she was told and put the crucifix back in her pocket. "So, tell my why you didn't kill him like you killed that human the night before?"Thorn pushed. I narrowed my eyes at the floor trying to find a reason that didn't sound selfish. "vampires can be... selective." I began. "lord knows how long it's been since I felt the same tightness in my chest upon laying eye's on a mortal." she looked at me. most likely curious of what I was getting at. "Love, is what you would call it. I had truly experienced it with Jasper's mother who is long since gone. I recall hating myself for not biting her to protect her from illnesses that could kill her. I longed for the feeling of love since then."

"so you didn't kill him cus' you liked whatcha' saw!?" Thorn blurted. "That would be only one reason and it would be blunt!" I shot back. "I didn't kill him because I..." I paused trying to figure out what I was going to say and how I was gonna say it. "I wanted to feel the same way I felt all those years ago." Thorn went quiet. she smiled understandingly. "so... spose' I was wrong then..." I looked at her confused. "vampires do have true emotions. your just good at hiden'em." we both laughed for a second. "I do have to say... your friendship with Encre is quite strong. personally I'm not to fond of you, but Encre is worried sick."

"speaking of which, shouldn't you be with him?"

"yes, and you should be resting." she rolled her eyes and pushed passed me. she went back down the hall to her room. "F- fallacy?" I flinched at the familiar voice. I turned around to see Encre. "h- how long were you there?"

"long enough." He smiled as tears began to form in the corners of his eyes. "You just wanted to experience love once more..." concerned that I would lose him, I dared to ask him; "are you worried that I don't truly love you? cause if you are I would never force myself to lie to a person like you." I picked him up in a bridle-style and carried him back to our bed. "I love you." he whispered.

(A/N sorry it's short. just having some distracting and intrusive thoughts at the moment. hope you enjoyed.)
