2023

I rolled over and saw Peter sleeping, his chocolate hair was scattered around in tuffs and light snores came from his slightly parted lips.

I sat up and moved the blanket off my legs.

Peter groaned and stretched his arms and legs out.

He always wakes up as soon as I move.

"Lay down," He mumbled.

"I'm hungry,"

"We should stay in bed all day."

"We have work, Pete."

He groaned again as he grabbed my hands. "Someone can cover,"

I sighed.

Peter sat up slightly, looking down at my hands. "Where's your ring?"

"I take off when I sleep cause I don't want to lose it." I reached over to my bedside table and picked up the small velvet box. I opened it and took the ring out.

Peter sighed. He took the ring and slid it onto my finger.

"I love that."

"What? The ring?"

"No-well, yeah, I love the ring. But I meant I love it when you put it on me."

"Yeah?" He smiled. "Oh, have you talked to Cap yet?"

"I haven't, I was gonna ask when we go for dinner on Saturday,"

"I'm still a little surprised that you want him to walk you down the aisle."

"Steve has been like a dad to me, especially since my mom died."

"I know," Peter kissed my cheek.

"Have you decided between Ned and Harry for your Best Man yet?"

"Suit Harry?"

"Your best friend, Harry Osborn."

He groaned. "No, not yet. It's driving me insane."

"You'll figure it out," I said before kissing his cheek. "I have to get ready for work,"

"Aw, come on. Miles can cover for us."

I stood up and looked at him. "Other job, Peter."

He pouted. "Fine, go my little producer. Make dreams come true."

I laughed. "You're weird."

"You love it."
