I Can Hear The Bells

Dream sped walked down the hallway. No, she wasn't late, she was just used to walking quickly down the hallway.

She bumped into someone and she stumbled forwards. The person who bumped into caught her before she could hit the ground.

"Oh, sorry, Dream! Are you ok?"

Dream felt her face grow warm.

It was Killer.

"Y-Yea I'm fine, s-Sorry for bumping into you."

Killer laughed softly,"It was technically me who bumped into you." Dust and Horror shouted his name from across the hallway.

Killer let go of her and waved before running to catch up with his friends,"Gotta go, see ya Dream!"

Dream waved back, a smile growing on her face. She knew Killer because he was one of Nightmare's friends and they came over like every day.

Blue must've seen Dream and maneuvered through the crowd to get to her,"Dream!" Blue called,"Dream? What's wrong?"

Blue poked Dream, confused on why Dream was just standing there.

"I can hear the bells." Dream whispered dreamily. Blue blinked,"What bells?"

Dream looked at Blue,"Well, don't you hear 'em chime?" "No-" The school bell rang signaling they were late for class.

"Those bells? Yea we're late, c'mon." Blue pulled Dream through the now almost empty hallway.

"Can't you feel my heartbeat keeping perfect time?" Dream said as she put her hand on her heart. Blue blinked,"Oookay. Tell me after class."

Luckily their teacher wasn't too mad.

At the end of class(the last period of the day) Blue nudged Dream,"So what happened exactly?"

"Because he touched me, he looked at me and stared."

"Who?"

"Yes, he bumped me, my heart was unprepared."

Ink came and joined them, Blue gestured towards Dream and shrugged as Dream giggled,"When he tapped me and knocked me off my feet."

Ink looked confused,"Did someone bump into you?"

"One little touch, now my life's complete."

"I'm taking her to Nightmare. He'll know what to do" Ink mumbled, dragging Dream with her. Blue scurried after them.

On the way to find where Nightmare and Dream usually met to walk home from school, Dream sighed dramatically and put a hand on her forehead,"I can hear the bells, my temperature's climbing."

"You should go join drama club with how dramatic you're being" Blue said. Ink spotted Nightmare and pushed her way through the crowd.

"I can't contain my joy cause I finally found the boy I've been missing!" Dream fawned. Blue pat her shoulder,"Seems like it."

Ink pushed Dream towards Nightmare, "Good luck with her." Blue hesitated before saying,"Not sure what's wrong with her. Bye Dream!" Blue said, following Ink.

Nightmare studied his sister, her face was covered in blush and she looked like she was in another world.

Nightmare waved to his friends before leading Dream home.

Dream noticed Killer walking in a different direction with Error and she practically swooned. Nightmare followed her gaze and snorted,"Oh no."

"Round one, he'll ask me on a date." Dream giggled. Nightmare snorted again, "Do you seriously like him?"

"And then round two, I'll primp but won't be late."

"But I heard you were late to class."

"Because round three's when we kiss inside his car."

"I see."

"Won't go all the way, but I'll go pretty far-"

"Dream are you actually fantasizing you and Killer-" Nightmare laughed, shaking his head.

"Round four, he'll ask me for my hand."

"You're a junior, Dream. You're not going to get married yet."

"And then round five, we'll book the wedding band."

"Why not just get a DJ?"

"And I can hear the bells, my ears are ringing."

Nightmare sighed, unlocking the front door,"Did you hit your head or something?"

"I can hear the bells, the bridesmaids are singing."

Nightmare let Dream go inside first and she tossed her backpack to the side and twirled around in the living room.

Nightmare laughed at his sister's behavior. She's never gotten so attached to a crush like this before.

"Listen! I can hear the bells."

"Are you on drugs?"

"I can hear the bells, today's just the start."

Dream pretended to stab her self and fell backwards onto on of the couches as she said dramatically,"And 'til death do us part!"

"Listen, I can hear the bells!" Dream collapsed into a fit of giggles. Nightmare watched her for a few moments before he picked up his phone and dialed a number. He waited a few seconds before the person he called picked up.

"Hey Killz ya free tonight?"

Um here take it.
