TheChildOfAGroup requested a Crossmare chapter to go with the I Can Hear The Bells and That Sparkle, and I was more than happy to provide y'all with it. The song is Only Us from Dear Evan Hansen. I introduce to you: A chapter where Cross doesn't get flustered easy for once!!

It was Monday.

The first day at school where Dream and Killer were a couple.

They were both really nervous to tell people about it, but Nightmare assured them both that people dating in high school was completely normal.

It didn't help that Nightmare kept sending them both clips of the videos he'd gotten.

Nightmare was walking down the hallway to get to his chemistry class early because he didn't like to be late.

He sighed as a fistfight broke out.

Nightmare glanced to see who was fighting and quickly looked away and kept walking.

Cross was in the fight.

Cross was the most feared girl at school. If you got her mad, you answered to her fists.

She hasn't lost a fight once, no matter what gender they are. She's punched the blood and tears out of boys, girls, and non-binaries who thought they could throw a punch harder than Cross.

Why he didn't watch the fight?

Well, he wasn't the kind of person to watch fights.

And he thought that Cross was really hot.

Sure, Nightmare was popular and could get literally any girl in his school to date him.

But Cross.

She was so independent and didn't give a crap about anything.

She wasn't a bad student, she got good grades and a lot of teachers liked her, she was just really violent with people she hated, or anyone in general.

She and Nightmare had a few of the same classes together. They were lab partners, but Cross might not be to class on time because of the fight she's in at the moment.

Nightmare could remember the day he first saw Cross.

It was the middle of Sophomore year, and it was the lunch break, and there was a new student that a group of seniors decided to push around.

Everyone felt bad for the new student, those seniors were like the main bullies of the school.

Nightmare's group looked away for a few seconds and before you know it, there was a fight.

People were running towards the fight to get a better look and to film it.

Killer commented about how stupid the new student was to fight back as he and Horror climbed up a tree to get a better view.

Nightmare replied to Killer with a comment on how it was stupid to climb a tree to watch someone do something stupid and threatened to knock them both down the tree.

Horror interrupted Killer's response by shouting something about the new kid, who was not only a sophomore, but also a girl.

Killer then confirmed that the girl was winning the fight.

A few minutes later all the seniors that attacked the new girl had either ran away, embarrassed by the fact that a sophomore had beaten them up, or the others were strewn on the floor, either unconscious or nursing their wounds.

And ever since that day, Cross was known as the strongest student at Fandom High.

To Nightmare, however, she was not only very threatening, but also attractive.
