I know I haven’t updated in a while, but I’m busy with work. But I’m currently on break, so hopefully I can update more. Check out my other books on my profile and spread the word about them!

Enjoy Taken!

We were all down in the lab looking at Davenport’s new motorcycle, and even though it looked awesome, I didn’t understand why he had one. I could just picture him falling off.

The little vacation Chase and I had been on had to sadly come to an end, but it was fun while it lasted. I could only hope that we could do it again. It was really relaxing.

“So,” Davenport approached us. His outfit was basically squeaking as he walked, and I had to do my best to not laugh. He looked extremely ridiculous in all leather. “What do you think?”

“I think you’re begging for a gang of bikers to do rotten things to you.” Chase answered.

Bree eyed him closely. “Are those my pants?”

Davenport chuckled. “Not anymore.”

“Why does he fit into girl pants?” I whispered to Leo who was right beside him. He just shook his head in response.

“I call it a Daven-Cycle.” Davenport said, walking towards his bike. “She’s got auto-pilot, laser-guided weapon systems, and a tiny little flower vase, to brighten your day.” He reached into his jacket and pulled out the vase that held a flower, before placing it on the bike.

“Whoa, cool.” Adam nodded in satisfaction. “Throw in a tiny basket for Chase to ride in and we’re good to go.” Everyone chuckled.

Static suddenly came from one of the screens in the lab, and we all turned around to see Douglas. “Hello? Anybody home?” He started laughing.

“He hacked you again?” Leo asked. “Would it kill you to spend $40 on some security software?”

We turned our attention back to Douglas. “Love the new lab, Donny.” He complimented. “Ooh, tunnels! Industrial, yet classy.”

Davenport didn’t look amused at all. None of us did. “Take a hint, ex-brother. There’s a reason none of us accepted your buddy requests.”

“Oh, I accepted it.” Adam informed him. We all stared at him in shock. “What? His updates are hilarious! “Looking forward to a weekend of evil, winky-face.”” He then proceeded to wink. Why did Adam have to be an idiot?

“Listen, I don’t have a lot of time.” Douglas said, his voice slightly panicked. What? “Krane’ll be back soon. He went out to get his head waxed.”

“Fascinating. You know what?” Davenport questioned. “It might sound like I’m hanging up.” He went to end the call, but Douglas stopped him.

“Wait! Wait, wait, wait! This isn’t another trick! You’re in danger!” He warned us. “Krane has completely lost it!”

“Oh, wow!” Chase pretended to be shocked. “So, the guy who keeps implanting himself with bionics is unstable? Who could have seen that coming?”

“I’m serious!” Douglas continued. “Krane is using my technology to give himself new abilities I didn’t even know were possible!”

“Stop freakin’ yelling.” I mumbled.

“He’s a ticking time-bomb, and he sees you three as a threat!” He added.

“Hey! What about me and Alex?” Leo questioned. “We’re dangerous!”

“Yeah, there’s always a chance you might faint on somebody.” Douglas told him.

I narrowed my eyes at him. “I could kick your ass so hard you’ll wake up in Texas.” I threatened. “So don’t piss me off.”
