The whole house -Mansion- had crashed down late last night, given the whole wedding disaster. Everyone was really concerned about the couple, everyone knew they had their ups and downs and apparently had even broke up before. That morning word quickly got around that the two decided that- and quote 'Something as small as that is not going to tear us apart, we've both been through worse and we're going to make it work somehow.' -
More power to 'em, Tony thought with a hint of pride. The whole wedding crash was a huge bummer, but they both seemed to be taking it surprisingly well. Something Tony guessed that Steve would not take well was that little thing that Tony was going to have to tell him about. That damned case that most likely started this whole thing. That was a conversation that Tony was not necessarily looking forward to.
Tony started it off already sounding stupidly suspicious. "Cap, we need to talk," Tony said lowly, leaning against the wall near the kitchen where Steve was. Steve turned to him and nonchalantly followed him out of the room.
"What's wrong, Stark?" Steve asked as soon as they were out of the room. "Is this about the baby again? You're going to keep freaking out about that until Pepper's due date in a few weeks, aren't you?"
Tony rolled his eyes. Sure he'd been nervous about having a kid, to be honest he didn't really have much of a fatherly role model to look up to and Steve knew that too, which is why Tony had been pleased that Steve had been so supportive.
"No! Well...maybe- Anyways, this isn't about that this time. I-uh, may have to confess something." Tony imagined this wasn't going to end well. Tony decided it would be better to just say it quick, like ripping of the bandage. After all, this wasn't the first time he had to deliver bad news. Then why did it seem so damn hard this time?
"Yesterday morning Fury showed up. He gave me some case, told me to hide it and I had no idea what the hell was inside. I had Jarvis do some scans, but I figured it was better hidden."
"Better hidden from the team," Steve said with a small hint of bitterness trapped in his voice. Tony flinched slightly at the blow.
"I didn't think it was necessary." Steve raised an eyebrow.
"You didn't think it was necessary?" Steve asked in a nearly sarcastic tone.
"I- damn it," Tony snapped at himself more than anything, pounding his hand against the wall. "I have no instinct for this kinda thing. None! I just- I just didn't want to ruin your big moment, okay? You would have gone all Super Soldier, Nat would have been on edge the entire time and the whole thing would have been a wreck anyways!" Steve crossed his arms, his expression not as hard now.
"So you just decided it would be better to neglect us from the whole situation?"
"What do you want me to say, Cap? Hm? Do you want an I'm sorry?! Because I'm generally not very good at those!" Steve grinned a little. Just slightly
"I don't know about what your usual apologies consist of, but that was a pretty fine start." Tony looked at Steve a little surprised. Had Captain Spangles just played him?
"Guys," Nat urges as she opens the door suddenly, "Clint's missing." She held up a note, a rather long one at that. "He must of snuck off during the night, Thor's gone as well."

"So it took you a full month to hunt me down. I'm barely impressed," Bobbi says as she crosses her arms and slowly starts to slide out of bed. Clint's bows followers her, never letting the arrow leave point.
