Clint and Thor both stiffened at the Watcher's words. Though not so surprisingly, Bobbi did not. She quickly rolled forward just out of Thor's grasp.
Knowing it was useless hiding now, Clint stepped up into the room and Thor quickly followed without hesitation and stood next to his team mate.
"Only two of you? What a pity," the Watcher noted dully. Clint shrugged.
"We didn't really feel like we needed to assemble for just this," Clint snapped. The Watcher seemed unfazed by Clint's words. Thor just watched the scene unfold. This mysterious Watcher did not show his face, he was somehow shaded always from the chest up, no matter where he moved through out the room.
"Of course. Because we're really all on the same side here, correct? There's really no need for violence." The young woman that sat near the Watcher suddenly went forward to take the case from Bobbi. "This Diadem is what you want, correct? Do you really seek the curse of Vár?"
"How do you know of such things?" Questioned Thor, squeezing Mjolnir tighter. The Watcher merely sighed and continued to peruse his own hall.
"Lore and Myths of my ancestors. Only I believe them to be reality." Thor looked mildly suspicious still, but didn't seem to have the intent to questioned him further.
"So, what is it that you're really doing here?" Clint asked, cutting right to the chase. The Watcher once again sighed, but resigned himself to answer.
"I wish only to let this lore, this wonderful heritage of our world be known. Is that such a sin?" Clint shook his head.
"You play the part well, sir. But your innocent alibi doesn't completely check out. The ancient heritage line was good though I must admit," Clint chided to the wandering Watcher.
"Why thank you. Though I am not as much of a liar as you claim, though you are not completely wrong, you're not blatantly correct."
"Can't anyone ever say what they mean?" Clint questioned out loud to no one in particular, throwing his hands up dramatically.
"Well, this conversation now bores me..Mr. Cage," the Watcher calls out and not a moment later does a tall, brute, dark skinned man walk onto the scene. He's just about as big as Thor and Clint soon weigh's the variable's of how this situation could go down. "Please escort them out."
"Not with out the Diadem," Thor demands, his tone uncompromising. This time the Watcher grins and it is the first time Clint and Thor can see even part of his face.
"Very well, Mr. Cage. Please dispose of them."
"Gladly," come's the gruff man's response. Clint quickly notches as arrow as he see's other's pour in.
"Oh boy, not sure how I'm going to like this." Surveying the area Clint can plainly see they're cornered and the ceiling is only carved stone. The more and more he start's to dislike his options.
Meanwhile, Bobbi hasn't moved. She watches as the Watcher and his new doll walk off down an alternate hallway which closes as soon as they pass, during that time Clint and Thor are being swarmed and forced back and cornered. Bobbi hesitates, but soon decide's that enough is enough. Enough of the low wages, enough of these bat-shit crazy bosses, hell, enough of being put in N.D.E's because of circumstances. So Bobbi quickly arms her electrically charged baton's and get's to work.

"Sir- Sir, what are you doing?!" The seer questions frantically as the Watcher arms several, in ground explosives.
"These will explode in less than ten minutes, drop hundreds of feet of rock on this place."
"Yes, sir. But- but Luke and the sanctuary!-"
"Are meaningless. Come, my dear. Our new sanctuary awaits us."

It's Thor who notices the rumbling and the quaking first. He's not an idiot and he know's what it means. "My friends, we must depart immediately!" He calls to them.
"Then let's go, big guy. Lead the way!" And that is really code for Thor, blow through all these guys so we can get the hell out of here! And rest assured Thor always got the message.
Meanwhile, Bobbi is still caught in somewhat of a circle as she watches the two Avengers make haste in their escape. She curses subtly until, surprisingly, Clint moves back to help her and pull her through. Something about this makes Bobbi's heart jump. He was the first person, a person like her, to say something and have it not be only for meaningless persuasion, but actually mean it. Bobbi follows them without hesitation.
"Hey!" Someone calls after them. "Where do you pussy's think you're going?"
"Oh shit," Clint breathes as he turns to find that the crazy muscle man has followed them somehow.
"Luke," Bobbi says sternly as she moves in front. "This place is about to blow. We're getting out of here. Screw the pay, it was all a lie anyways."
"You always say it like it is, don't you, M.B?" Bobbi shrugs and then nearly topples over when the first bomb goes off. "See you guys on the flip-side!" The man, apparently named Luke Cage, shouts as he too runs off.
"Come on!!" Bobbi yells loudly over the noise. "I know a way out of here!" Thor, Clint and Bobbi al bolt for an exit and it shines like the light at the end of the tunnel and just as soon as you can touch it the rocks previously over head collapse. All around they small group can sight no one else. Perhaps they were the only survivors. The organization was buried and Vár's Diadem along with it.
