Clint still stayed, leaning against the wall trying to let everything that Mocking Bird had told him sink in. "So what it basically boils down to is some new psychopath tryin' to make a name for himself?" Mocking Bird rolled her eyes and shook her head.
"I've dealt with you're everyday psycho wanna be before. I've been with psycho wanna be's before, this guys serious," she warned. Clint was still suspicious. This girl was touch, no question, but why all the sudden was she so willing to help?
"So, how about I make you a deal? You-"
"Let me guess," she started, cutting the archer off, "I show you to their base, help you kick the guys ass and I get off, right?" Clint smirked and lowly whistled.
"Sounds's like you've done this one too many times." Clint watched as Bobbi's expression went blank for about a second then flit back to her regular facade.
"You have no idea," she answered finally. Clint shrugged and pushed himself off the wall.
"So, we have a deal then?" Bobbi paused for a moment. Normally she would either refuse or double-cross the person, but doing Hawkeye a favor was quite an opportunity and frankly very intriguing. Plus, she had seen him in action, had been on the receiving end of said action. He was impressively skilled.
"We do."

"So, the watcher began as he seated himself upon his throne, "I have been told that you both have some unique ability's."
"Yes, sir," said the tiny girl with a thick Indian accent. She was thin, darker skinned and classically beautiful, unlike her companion who was tall, brute, impressively built and had scar's littering his bare arms.
"Tell me," was the Watcher's simple command. The brute man took a few steps forward, the Watcher held up his hand. "That is far enough." Neither of the two newcomers in the room made any comment about how the Watcher kept his face shrouded at all times.
"I don't feel any pain," the man said, going strait to the point. The watcher nodded.
"Ah," the Watcher mused as he looker over the man, "I would have work for you with in my ranks."
"We are getting paid for this, right?" The brute questioned in a tone that sounded much like a grunt.
"We are honored to be employed and to provide our services," the girl added quickly after her companion's blunt question. The Watched seemed pleased by the girls response.
"And what are you capable of, my dear?"
"The people of my town called it a seventh sight, sir. The people claim that it is our ancestral heritage. I can see what is and what will be."
"Interesting," the Watched praised. Her gift's were very intriguing and very useful. "Come, my dear, take your place by me." The girl seemed utterly stunned for a moment, but she finally walked across the room to he master's side. The brute man's jaw clenched the way the Watcher praised and kept the girl.
"Leave us," said the Watcher when he noticed the look of the other man in the room. The brute curtly grunted and walked off. "So then, my dear, what do they call you?"
"Cortana," she answered and the Watched grinned.
"Well then, dear Cortana, what can you see now?" Cortana stayed silent for a few moment's, her eyes shimmered and reflected images and different sequences through-out time. The not to distant future.
"I can tell you that a new kind of Legacy is about to be born."

"Breathe, Pep."
"Shut up, Tony!" Pepper whined from where she laid. Pepper had already been in labor for about 6 hours and she quickly decided that she didn't like it.
"He's just trying to help, Pepper," says Steve calmly. Tony had asked- mainly because Tony Stark never admit's that he begs- Steve to come into the room for support for both him and Pepper since he was still a bit shaken himself.
"Listen to 'em, honey," says one of the midwives in the two midwives in the room, "you're fully dilated and almost ready to deliver."
"Thank god," the disgruntled CEO breathes as she flops back onto the bed. The midwife grabbed a few towels and blanket and set them up near the bed.
"What do you want, a boy or a girl?" Asked the other midwife to Tony. Tony shook himself from the string of thought that he was quite clearly immersed in.
"I don't know," he answered a bit numbly then laughed, "I haven't actually considered it that much." But it did bring up some curiosity now. Did it or would it make a difference? Tony was not one of those guys who wanted a boy just because he didn't want a girl. He knew personally some pretty bad ass women.
"Okay, Miss Stark," said one of the midwifes, "just relax now, the baby is almost here."

"The whole thing is underground, almost completely unbreachable from the outside," Bobbie explained a smaller room off to the side. Most importantly with no windows.
"Unless you wanted to bury 'em," added Clint as a gruesome side note. Bobbie shrugged nonchalantly.
"Well, there is that. I could draw out a map, but I'm not sure how precise it would be," she said, switched gears in an instant. These guys maybe new, but the definitely knew what they were doing.
"Could you not lead us yourself?" Thor asked and Bobbi gave him a somewhat awkward look. She quirked and eyebrow and pointed asking.
"Does he always talk like this?" Clint glances at Thor expression before he answers. It's calm, mellow, almost expectant at this point.
"Pretty much, so back to your plan."
"Well," Bobbi began again, "hate to break it to both of you, but you kinda of stand out. Minus the kinda, especially him." Bobbi pointed to Thor and the demi god began to suspect that she had some kind of unknown strife against him for some reason.
"I'm sure we can find a way to smuggle him in," the archer exclaimed, rubbing his hands together, "this isn't my first break in." Bobbi sighed.
"It's not breaking in that I'm worried about; it's getting out that concerns me. At this guys point of desperation, I think he'd rather bring the 40 feet of rock down on himself than go without that crown thing-y."
"The diadem," Thor says, though he's pretty sure both mercenary's in the room understand.
"Right, so we need to have a clear exit plan," Bobbi concluded to the two Avengers.
"I think I have an idea of how to do that," Clint answered with a unnerving, smug smirk upon his lips. One that made Bobbi's heart jump, though she didn't know why.
