Leci stood in front of the gate for the UA entrance exam. Her stomach did flips, her palms were sweating heavily, and she bounced on the soles of her feet. The blonde scanned her surroundings, seeing her friend nowhere in sight before groaning internally as a frown grew on her face. I hope she's doing alright... She thought. The sound of an alarm went off, making everyone look around in slight panic. The blonde became tense, her stomach now in knots upon realizing what it was.
The gates soon open. And the countdown had begun.
Everyone went inside, and the doors soon closed behind them. The second they did, that's when chaos began to ensue; robots started to come out of nowhere and towards the participants. Some ran, some began to fight.
Leci was one of the few to stay back and fight. Unfortunately, the ones they're fighting are Arena Traps.
With a stomp of her foot, the earth began to shake before large spikes came from the floor, stabbing the robot before it exploded. Another Arena Trap robot began to go towards them, and with a quick breath, she lowered herself to the ground, one hand on the floor with the other raised as she felt the wind around her begin to swirl around her body. She felt her blood pump faster, the adrenaline taking over her body as she felt herself begin to get stronger.
"充電!"
Leci lunged towards the robot, and with all the strength she mustered, she punched it; the wind around her hand pushed it back when the punch was delivered, and was thrown into the building, making a large explosion. She landed back on her feet, breathing heavily with a smirk. Not bad. She thought, shaking her right hand ever so slightly. Her small victory was short lived, however, when a large shadow loomed over her. She turned around quickly, and was face to face with another robot with the number "2" on its side.
A Medium Villain bot.
She watched as it began to charge up its blast, and was about to attack it until the bot was encased with black flames. Her eyes widened as the metal began to melt and drop like putty near her feet. The blonde stumbled backwards at the sight before looking up to see who destroyed it.
A girl, dark skin with short, wild purple hair and amber eyes stood before her with a black flame emitting from her right palm. She wore a black tracksuit with a red trim, and looked dead at the blonde with a neutral look. "Pay attention next time." Was all she said before crushing the flame with her palm and running off. Awestruck, Leci nodded before running the other way to fight more robots before the time was up.

It was so much harder now than she thought.
She felt her energy drain from her body more and more she fought the bigger robots. So far she had gotten a lot of Medium Villain bots to Hard Villain bots, very few Easy Villain ones, but she would be fine with it. She finished the last of the Hard Villain bots with a Typhoon technique, her legs slightly numb as her arms began to burn. The adrenaline was starting to wear off slightly, and her right hand started to hurt.
A lot.
She looked down at it and saw the bruise and her knuckles bleeding badly. With a hiss, the girl formed her hand into a fist, and began to walk until the ground began to shake. An earthquake?
It stopped....
Then started again.
It kept repeating until she turned around; Leci felt her stomach drop to her feet as she saw the large-no- ginormous Villain Bot only few hundred feet from her.
It was walking the other way, but it never took notice of her.
She watched with wide eyes as it walked past her, the ground shaking with each step it took. The girl didn't know what was going on or why it was around until she noticed a change.
Had it gotten closer? Or was she-
She was running towards it.
WHAT AM I DOING?! She screamed to herself, going full speed towards the ginormous bot until she apparated. Leci stumbled forward, holding her mouth with her left hand as she watched everyone else run away. Mildly sick and confused she turned around, and nearly screamed as she was right in front of it. The girl jumped back, and was about to make a break for it until she heard a shriek of pain and fear. Frozen in place, she turned around, and felt her heart stop.
There, half of her body stuck in the rubble and debris was girl she met at the entrance building.
"Ayumi?"
The girl blinked, taking a small step back as Leci got up and dusted herself off. "How do you know me?" She questioned, her tail lying flat on the ground behind her. "How can I not? It's been a while but I can never forget your horns and tail!" The blonde gave her a lopsided grin before tilting her head. "But what happened to your eyes? They were such a pretty color beforehand... It reminded me of an Amethyst.."
"Amethyst...?"
She watched as Ayumi narrowed her eyes, as if trying to remember something that was on the tip of her tongue. It only lasted for a few seconds before she stopped and looked at Leci with wide, brown eyes. "Alecia?"
"The one and only! But you can call me Leci!"
"AYUMI!"
Leci felt a surge of power go through her body, and the adrenaline that has left her came back with full force. She charged at them, watching as the foot of the robot got closer and closer to Ayumi until she got under its foot. The black haired girl closed her eyes and waited her brutal fate until she heard a growl come from in front of her.
She opened her eyes and saw Leci, nearly on her knees, holding up the giant robotic foot. She grunted before slowly standing up, moving so she was holding it up with her hands before screaming out and having the robot's foot destroyed with a single, large blast of energy. It stumbled backwards, and before Ayumi can say anything, Leci lunged towards it. She felt her body become light, and her heart pumping so hard it could come out of her chest at any moment, but she didn't care; her only instinct was to protect and keep that thing away from Ayumi.
No matter the cost!
She jumped high, seeing as she was now faced to face with the robot before she raised her right fist high and punched it. The impact of the punch caused an explosion, the front of the bot's face destroyed before it flew back and hit the ground. Leci breathed heavily, her eyes glued onto the destroyed robot before she was facing the clear, blue sky.
The wind blew harshly against her hair and face, and she felt the adrenaline wear off, and was now replaced with fear. She screamed, turning her body around so she was faced to face with the earth, and watched as it grew closer and closer. Leci could use a spell or apparate to help cushion her fall, but she was too tired, and too scared to do so. She closed her eyes and waited for the impact of the cold cement floor, but was instead greeted with a warm pair of arms and a sweet smell of jade.
"Alecia! Are you okay?!"
She opened her eyes, and blue met brown; Ayumi held onto her tighter, and landed gently on her knees, keeping Leci wrapped in her arms before laying her legs down onto the floor. "I can't believe you did that!" A weak chuckle left the blonde, and looked up at her with tired eyes. "I can't believe I could pull that off... Are you alright?"
"I should be asking you that! You-Your hand-!"
"Nothing I can't handle, Ayu..."
An alarm went off, causing the two girls to look up.
Time was up.
Leci groaned, putting her head against Ayumi's shoulder as the other rubbed her arm gently. "So much for that..." She murmured. "Hey, it's okay! I think you did amazing!" The dark haired girl smiled brightly at her, making the blonde smile tiredly. "I hope so... I better not have gotten a broken hand for nothing.." "I'm sure you didn't." Ayumi helped Leci up, and made their way towards the exit. "Hey, Ayu... By any chance, are you doing anything tonight?"
"Not that I know of... Why?"
"Try to see if you can come over. I'm sure my mom would love to see you again!"
