Ch 13 Tohru is leaving us

I was outside watching Kyo training as I heard
Tohru and shigure conversation.

"I just found out the renovations are done" Tohru said

Making shigure gasps.

Kyo and I quickly look at her.

"I uh I got a phone call from my grandfather up at the school he told me" Tohru said feeling sad.

I look at shigure

"Ah I see and if memory serves you were panning to move back into the house once the work was done, is that right?" Shigure asked.

She didn't respond

"What renovations?" Kyo asked

"Oh I guess we never told you Kyo" shigure replied.

"So what tell me now?" Kyo asked

I sighed

She told Kyo and continue telling him everything about his grandpa and her aunt and uncle and evening more but Kyo cut her off
"Okay! Enough already I get it"

We all look at him.

"I'm sorry" Tohru said looking down

"Don't mind him I think we caught him a little off-guard with new is all we've just witnessed a classic example of what I like to call misdirected rage I believe the technical term is being an ass?" Shigure Said making joke about it.

I growls

"You are so full of it!" Kyo yells at him

"I guess I can understand. This does seem sudden" shigure Said

"I suppose I should go ahead and get my things packed while I still have the rest of the afternoon I'll try to be out of your way by this evening" tohru said.

"Please, don't hurry on our account feel free to take as much time as you need" shigure Said.

"Thanks but I'm sure they could use my help straightening up and everything and like the saying goes never put off til tomorrow what you can do today" Tohru said getting up and look right back at us.

"So then, I'll be right upstairs if you guys need me and thank you" Tohru Said opening the door to see yuki there shocked

"Yuki" I Said

"Oh yuki thank you so much for everything you've done for me" Tohru Said bowing him.

"Uh any time"'Yuki  Said still in shock.

I about to say something to yuki but I got cut off by shigure Said something to yuki but he just ignore what he said.

I sat down not looking at everyone in the room.

"Aren't you guys going to try to stop her I mean?" Shigure asked.

"Why would we?" I replied glaring at shigure.

"We've known from the start that she was only staying here until the remodeling was finished" yuki Said.

Shigure sighs

"Well even so it does seem stuffy in here doesn't it?" Shigure asked us.

"Let her go" Kyo Said lay down on the ground.

We all look at kyo.

"We should have never allowed an outsider in this house to begin with" kyo said in sad voice.

We didn't say anything.

As Tohru headed down the stairs with her things

We got up to meet her at the door

"There's some fish left in the refrigerator eat it soon so it doesn't go bad okay and you're almost out of soy sauce, so you'll need to pick some up at the store oh and don't forget they changed the day they pick up the garbage so be sure you put it out in time" Tohru said.

As she started to think about something.

"Oh yeah I wrote down my grandfather's address and everything so if there's anything you can't figure out, you know where to find me" Tohru said giving shigure the paper.

He took it

"Thank you Tohru you really are too good to us" shigure says as he smiling at her.

"Not at all I'm the one who should say that to you and don't worry I won't tell anyone about your family curse cross my heart and hope to die" tohru said.

Shigure nod

"Speaking of which where's that cat?" Yuki asked

"I'd think you know by now after all sulking on the roof does seem to be one of the strange little ways kyo shows he cares" Shigure replies.

We look at him

"Anyway good luck settling into your new home" shigure Said.

"Thanks you guys for everything bye" Tohru Said leaving out the door.

We sigh as we headed to the kitchen.

"Well as far as goodbyes go that felt pretty good I guess" shigure Said as we noticed food on the table with a note.

Shigure grab it and started to read it out loud
"Please heat up what's in the refrigerator to your favourite T".

Yuki and I didn't say anything

"Although I'd be lying if I didn't say it left me feeling a little bit sad too" shigure said.

I grab a plate and grab the leftover food on the table.

"I'm going to my room" I Said heading to my room wanted to be alone.

Time skip Next morning

Yuki, kyo and I was in the kitchen to hear footsteps approaching towards the kitchen.

"Tohru I'm starving what's for breakfast?"

We three glare at Shigure

"I forgot our dear sweet Tohru has gone gone away" Shigure said.

I growls

"That sounded like you forgot on purpose" yuki said

"No of course not that would be pretty despicable don't you think but you know, without Tohru here it does feel like all the fire's gone out of this kitchen doesn't it, suddenly it seems so cold and dreary" Shigure replies with a smile.

"Dammit you are saying that on purpose aren't you?!" Kyo shouted attacked him but Shigure pushes him back from his punches.

"In any event consumed by grief though we are, I suppose we can't help but get hungry at some point which reminds me Tohru left us a pot of her delicious beef stew in the refrigerator yes?" Shigure said looking at yuki who's holding a pot.
