Our Perfectly Imperfect Story

Chapter : 12

(Forgive my mistakes and sorry for the delayed update..)

 Phana let Ming eat first..and it was time for them to talk...

"why are you here, Ming?" Phana asked politely.

Ming felt easy with the softness in Phana's voice. He was really scared because of the sudden cold demeanour of Phana and the fact that he came to his place unannounced. He knew no one in this country.

" uhm.. I.. err..I told you this before.. I was missing you there and I didn't think much before coming here." Ming mumbled softly.

" Ming.. you know, you shouldn't have done this.. right? You could have called me or at least waited for me to reach you, right?" Phana tried his best to keep his calm..

" I called you for so many times.. I left many voicemails too.. I even sent you messages.. but none of them got a reply from you." Ming was hurt terribly.. and it showed in his voice as well.

Phana this time felt bad for not checking his phone properly. "so, you came here because I didn't answer any of your calls and messages ?" Phana was amused with what Ming said..

Ming couldn't utter a word , just nodded his head a yes while hanging his head low..

"stay here with us for a few days. Then go back to New York.. I'll talk to Ryan.. okay?" Phana's words made Ming happy for the very first time since he arrived there.

Ming was looking at Phana with his puppy eyes.. he felt thankful to him for not driving him away from their house more over from not cancelling his internship.

"Thank you Pha..." Ming muttered in a very small voice.

Phana felt sorry for the boy in front of him.. but he had to keep his cool.. he couldn't let the boy know what effects sometimes he had on him..

He simply couldn't do that to Ming.

He had too many reasons for not accepting this boy.

this poor guy had an infatuation on him, letting him know about these feelings would only give this boy false hopes, which he couldn't think of doing to anyone, let alone this stupid boy,sitting in front of him.

He even believed that he still carried some affection, care, and love for Forth, deep inside his heart. So it would hurt both of them at the end.

And most importantly, he was scared to love anyone at that point of time. He lost Forth to Beam. He had the biggest heartbreak once. It was so hard on him that he ended up leaving the country. He wasn't ready for anything right now.

He knew he was hurting Ming but it would be okay in someday. Ming would be fine.. he was sure of that.

Its been days and Ming was still staying in Thailand with Phana and his mother.

And today Phana's father would be discharged from the hospital. Phana went to the hospital with his mother where as Ming stayed at their house.

All this while Ming never felt awkward towards Phana's family.

His mother seemed a nice woman. Phana was considerable towards him as well.

But Ming still felt the heaviness in his heart. He never could force Phana to love him back. That never meant he was gonna give up on his love.

He even planned on courting Phana but he couldn't figure a way to do so.

He was deep in his thoughts when the sound of the door opening was heard and he watched Phana entering with his parents.

They all looked happy. It made him miss his own family.

Its long since he met his parents and his brother. Although he frequently had video-called them. But that never helped the eagerness in him to meet them physically.

He missed his brother the most. He was someone who understood him the most, loved the most.

The gloominess in Ming's eyes was not unseen by Phana. In fact Phana was well aware of the changes in behaviour of this overjoyed kid in front of him, he even knew the reason behind them as well.. but he couldn't do anything to fix that.

And as today his father got discharged from the hospital, he had planned to take Ming out for dinner.. though he couldn't get a chance to ask Ming about that.

Phana's parent didn't ask much about the newest guest that was living with them, which was Phana very much grateful about.

It was of very much discomfort for him to explain things about Ming. Though he had an uneasy feeling that his mother guessed something about them.. but he didn't have the guts to ask his mother and clear things out.

After having lunch Phana's parents went to their room to get some rest and Ming was planning the same..

He was about to go upstairs when Phana called him.

"uhm.. Ming.." Ming waited for Phana.

" Ming.. can we go out for dinner today?" Phana was somehow hesitant to ask that.

"What if he considers it in a wrong way!" this was all he thought..

And the instant sparkles that lit up on Ming's eyes were enough to make Phana realize that he was right about this guy,all these while..

" Uhm.. Ming.. its nothing special.. I just wanted to take you to dinner.. nothing more than that.." Phana could see Ming's entire stature fell a little..

Ming sighed hurtfully.. "Okay.. lemme know the time and I'll be ready by then." Ming didn't even meet Phana's eyes..

Phana again felt guilty... but he couldn't figure anything to make Ming happy.. atleast for once....

I'm still confused with this storyline and I have no idea how I'm gonna end this...
