There is safety in a pack for a little lone wolf,
To grow a growl that staggers enemies and floods fear into prey.
We learn the act of hunting, how to be, who you are.
There was safety in my pack, an alpha to stand and a beta to see, paving ways for us in the wild.
The safety of a pack in temporary, for now a little lone wolf I am,
not lost but still unsure,
no longer sure my snarl can flood fear or that my enemies will run.
I am thrown to the wild.
Now I fight for survival and a place of my own.
But I am still a wolf.
And that alone is enough to know that in this new wild I am an finally the alpha of my life.
