It was weekend and my mom was preparing breakfast in the kitchen. I decided to wear my jogging pants and a jacket for a little walk.
“Oh, baby, where are you going?” she asked while I was heading for the door.
“Outside. I’ll just go for a walk.”
“Okay. Stay out of the woods, ok?”
“Oh… S-sure…” I stammered. I was quite alarmed when she said about the woods.
“Don’t take too long.”
“Yeah, mom. Bye!”

I was walking down the road with my earphones plugged in. I was heading for the park when I noticed I was going to the wrong direction. The air was getting colder. I turned around to go back, but all I could see now were trees. There is just one place I know full of trees. The woods. I was right there standing. Right now. But wait, how did I get here? I took a step when I heard some noise. Voices. I looked around but seen no one. I tried to follow the voices. My steps were so noiseless but eager and fastidious to find out something. My instincts were telling me to go back but I hesitated. There’s nothing to go back now. I’m already here without any slightest idea how. I moved on and on until the voices were becoming nearer and a little louder. I came to a halt and hid behind a tree. I saw two man standing and arguing.
“I’m warning you, Oliver.” The man said with gray fierce eyes.
“There’s nothing I can do now. Sorry, Brad. But it’s too late.” As I looked to the man talking, I took a deep breath, eyes wide. The man talking was the blue-eyed man.
“Too late? There would never be too late! After killing my brother!” Brad said furiously.
“That’s because he tried to kill her!”
“Her? Oh, right. She’s just so vulnerable. Right, Oliver?”
“This is over! I’m going!”
“Going? Where?”
“None of your business!”
“oh, so, it’s true! You were following her.”
“What? What do you mean?”
“You know what I mean. The girl. You were stalking her. Am I right?”
“This is getting boring.” Oliver said walking away but Brad caught his arm and said wickedly,
“Boring? No, it’s not. In fact, this is getting interesting.”
“Don’t you ever come near to her!”
“Oh! And you defend her. I wouldn’t have but thanks to you, you just gave me the brilliant idea.”
“You stay out of it, Brad! After you killed her sister. I’m not going to forgive you, if you touch her!”
“Nah, it’s okay. You don’t need to. So, tell me, you definitely like her, don’t you?”
“Shut up, Brad!”
“Oh, so, you don’t want to hear something about her.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Before Brix died, he just did a very complicated thing to us.” He paused, then continued, eyeing Oliver. “Guess what? I’m sure you know.”
But Oliver didn’t utter a single word, but I heard his thoughts saying, ‘What is it?’
“He bit her, don’t you know?” Brad chuckled.
