At the middle of the night, I was awaken by the cold air outside the window. I couldn’t sleep very well. As I went to the window, I saw a paper folded saying,

“Always there beside you…

Take care….”    -O.J.

Then, I also saw a white rose with another folded paper attached to it.

“Beautiful as a rose ever been….

Fairer as I’ve ever seen….

Always here for you…”   -O.J

Who are you O.J.? Why can’t you stop this? I would be very sorry of you. I understand how you feel but my heart belongs to someone for real. I’m sorry. Whoever you are. I looked up at the moon. So beautiful. Bright as ever. Then, I felt my wound hurts. It feels like I’m in a pain. I ran toward my bed, clutching my arm. I was now crying with pain. I felt so hot. Just then, I heard someone said,

“Sally, are you okay?” the voice came near the window and saw Oliver. I was startled to see he was here. He moved toward me holding my hand.

“What happened?” he asked.

“I…. my arm hurts. I…. I feel so hot.”

He looked at my arm and saw the wound. He seemed surprised by it. He touched my forehead, my face and hands.

“You’re really hot. Come here.” Helping me to stand up. He motions me toward the bed, his arms around me. He touched my wound in my arms and a moment later, the pain began to subside.

“How’d you know?”

“I was only walking down the road when I heard you’re instincts.”

 “My instincts?”

“Yeah. I could feel you. You were crying. So I came over.”

“What about mind-reading? Is it one of our abilities?”

“Yes, in fact, there’s still more. When you transformed, you can understand animal language. Hearing abilities. Physical strength.”

“I’ve noticed that. Well, except for the transforming thing.”

He gave a shaky laugh and said,

“You better rest. Sleep now.”

He laid me down the bed and rolled up my blanket. He was about to leave when I caught his arm,

“Wait, don’t leave me. Pls. stay.”

He smiled and held my arm,

“Okay, I’ll stay here not until you’re asleep.”

I smiled back and said,

“Okay. Goodnight.” Closing my eyes.

“Goodnight, sally.” Then, I could feel his lips on mine.

The next morning, I woke up. I was alone. It was only a dream. Oliver beside me. When I turned my head, I saw the white rose and the letter. And I thought it wasn’t a dream. Maybe my arm really hurts and I fell asleep. Then, I realized what I felt with Oliver. If it wasn’t a dream, then what I felt was real. Impossible! I’ve been needing him beside me. Letting him stay. Not letting him go away. And ….. and the kiss! It…. It was real! Gosh! This is just so great! Really great! I’m going to die! Really! If I saw him…. He mustn’t see me. Not now. I felt so embarrassed. Agh!

My mom was calling me for breakfast. But I skipped it. She seemed to be a bit disappointed. But I know, she’ll let go soon. I ran outside with my bag, going for school. When I arrived at school, I saw him near the gate. I was supposed to hide, too late he already saw me.
