When I woke up, I was already lying on a bed. Not on a hospital bed. Not the bed I have on my room, but a different one. Just then, I heard someone say,
“Oh, you’re up! Wait here, I’m gonna get you something.” She doesn’t looked so familiar to me. I don’t know her. When I tried to move, my body was aching. That’s when I realized, I’m in a human form again.
“Here you go. You’re gonna need this.” The girl said. Offering me a capsule. “Don’t worry it’s safe.” She said, when she realized I didn’t get it. I got it and drank it.
“By the way, my name is Lizzy. Lizzy Jones. Sister of Oliver.”
Oliver? He’s here? You’re his sister?
“Yes! I am!” she said answering the questions in my mind.
I smiled at her and she smiled back.
“My brother’s right. You’re beautiful. Especially when you smile.”
He did?
“Yeah. He always talked about you. Ever since he saw you in the woods.”
Always? But why?
“Yup. Always. Maybe he liked you.”
So not!
“why? Don’t tell me, you don’t like him?”
It’s not that! I liked him but as friends.
“Oh. Really. Too bad. You look good together.”
You’re really a good joker!
“Am I? Everybody thinks I’m funny.”
You are, though. But more like witty.
She laughed and said,
“Maybe you should speak, so that I may be able to hear your voice. Oliver said he likes to hear it everyday.”
Really?
“uh-huh. He’s got an interest in you.”
What made you say that?
“isn’t it obvious? He likes you. I’ve been teasing him like, ‘Oliver Jones was in love’ but he’ll just smirk at me.”
I laughed then she said,
“Feeling better now?”
“Yeah. Thanks!”
“By the way, Lizzy, where am I?” I finally asked.
“You’re at our camp for about three days.”
“What? 3 days?” I freaked out.
“uh-huh. Oliver has been worried sick about you!”
3 days? I couldn’t believe this. My mom’s gonna freak out.
“Don’t worry. O.J. handled everything.”
O.J.?
“O.J. Oliver Jones.”
“Oh! Right!” I gasped.
“I’m going outside to tell others you’re awake.” Standing up to her feet.
“Do you have to?”
“Of course. If you want to go with me, you can.”
“Oh. No, it’s okay. Maybe I’ll just stay here for awhile. To get some rest.”
“Okay. I’ll see you later, then.”
She went toward the door and disappeared. I looked around and noticed those classy furnitures, wooden floors and walls. The room was also warm and cozy. I tried to move myself and realized my body wasn’t aching anymore. I got out of bed and get on my feet. Walking around the room, observing it. I went toward a desk and saw something folded. A paper. I opened it and saw a picture fell out from it. To my great surprise, it was the picture of Ms. Carly, our teacher. I wonder why her picture’s here. I put it back to where it came from. Then, I saw another paper folded, I opened it again and read:
