Cronus is the king of titans and god of time in greek mythology. Cronus' parents are Uranus and Gaea. His wife is Rhea, his sister. His kids were Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Zues, Posiedon, and Hades. Cronus is an important figure in greek mythology. He was the god of time, and was the father of Posiedon, Zues, and Hades. He also killed his father, Uranus.

Cronus is an important figure in greek mythology. Cronus was the father of Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. He married his sister, Rhea, and had them. According to Theoi.com, "He was married to Rhea, by whom he became the father of Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus." Cronus was scared of being overthrown so, he ate his children. Zeus managed to be hidden and ended up not being swallowed. According to the same website as stated above, "In fear of a prophecy that he would in turn be overthrown by his own son, Kronos swallowed each of his children as they were born. Rhea managed to save the youngest, Zeus, by hiding him away on the island of Krete (Crete), and fed Kronos a stone wrapped in swaddling clothes." In summary, Cronus was married to his sister and father to Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus.

Cronus is an important part in greek mythology because he was the god of time. In greek mythology he was the god of time but, in roman mythology he was the god of agriculture, Saturn. According to, "In Roman mythology, Cronus is depicted as their deity named Saturn, his period of rule was honoured every year by the Saturnalia feast. Saturn was worshipped far more widely, as the God of Agriculture, by the Romans than Cronus had ever been." Cronus killed his dad and became the ruler of the universe. According to Theoi.com,

"He ruled the cosmos during the Golden Age after castrating and deposing his father (Uranus, Sky)." In conclusion, Cronus was the god of time as well as the ruler of the universe after he killed his dad.

According to greek myths Cronus killed Uranus, his father. Uranus was killed by Cronus with a sickle. Chronos was taking revenge because Uranus had locked away some of his brothers and sisters. According to Theoi.com, "He locked the eldest of these--the giant Kyklopes (Cyclopes) and Hekatonkheires (Hecatoncheires)--away inside the belly of Earth. Gaia suffered immense pain and persuaded her Titan sons to rebel. Four of these positioned themselves at the corners of the world, ready to grasp their father as he descended to lie with Earth, while the fifth, Kronos (Cronus), took his place in the centre and there castrated Ouranos with an adamantine sickle." Cronus had kids with other goddesses too. Philyra in shame retreated to the Pelasgian ridges where she gave birth to Chiron, the wise and half divine centaur." In conclusion, Cronus killed his dad and had kids with other goddesses.
