Luke stared out of the plane window submerged in his thoughts. He almost didn't realize that the plane had started landing, he had been so out of it all day.

Earlier this morning he had left you for their tour, but it was really hard for him. He checked his phone a ton of times on the flight, going through pictures of you two.

*a couple days later*

You and luke were on facetime talking about your guys' days. "Its been okay.." you said quietly. Luke sighed "I know its hard I promise ill be home soon.. just wait"

You two had finished talking a little while later and hung up.

You and Luke didn't know how hard this would be because the couple times he's toured while you two were dating you had the opportunity to go with him but this time didn't.

Soon enough later Luke was talking to Ashton about it. "It sounds so stupid but it's so hard, ashton.." luke said holding back tears.

"I know Luke. This is our job though we still have to put in the best we can I promise you'll see her soon maybe one of our breaks?" Ashton replied.

He was right Luke should just make the best out of it and hopefully he could see you soon.

It had now been a couple months since the tour started and you were talking to luke again, as you had done almost daily since it started.

"It's so hard to be lonely Luke.." you said with sadness in your voice. He looked at you through the facetime camera "I know bub, i'll be home soon I promise...".

He sat quietly for a bit thinking of ways he could see you soon but the tour didn't end for another month.

"Im sorry luke.. its my own fault" you said looking down. "This isn't at all your fault y/n. its my job. I know it hurts I promise I'll be home soon... I promise.. some way." He said.

"I know but if I wouldn't have decided to work this new job I would have been able to go with.. its not even a good job it's so stressful my other one was so much better and understanding.." you said quietly.

"Why didn't you tell me that it was stressing you out so bad? Im sorry baby.. as soon as im home i'll help you find another and we'll figure out what to do for the next tours.. i love you" he reassured you.

"I love you too luke".

After 4 long months without Luke, there was finally only 2 weeks left of the tour and you couldn't be more excited. You were laying in bed almost asleep and you didn't hear the front door open.

Soon you felt arms wrap around you. "Im home baby" luke said almost in a whisper but you could tell he was about to cry from being so happy. You immediately opened your eyes and hugged him starting to cry. "How luke, I missed you so much" you softly sobbed into his shoulder. "We ended earlier than we were supposed to.. im so happy to finally have you in my arms again" he mumbled.
