Days without light

It's been few weeks since I had left my home, left alone to wander in the busy streets of Lagos, the little money I had in my account wasn't enough to last me up to another week anymore . I was presently squatting with a friend of mine, his name is Tunde ,we have been friends for almost 7 years now and he came home for Christmas since he's studying at Unijos so he only came home to celebrate Christmas with his family but couldn't leave immediately as he had planned due to what happened to me so I had to convince him to go back to school telling him I was alright now ,that I was going to be okay, thank God he couldn't see past the lies I had  fed him and after some days he went back to school while I was staying with his family with nothing but darkness facing my life. I had no money, no one to support my education and I was left at the crossroad as I watched others resume while I was at home , life wasn't a bed of rose anymore ever since I lost my parents.
Out of the blue, Tunde's parents managed to help me continue my education and I couldn't help but to smile as I thank them so much for the things they've done for me for the past few weeks now. I was indeed thankful.
Without you life still goes on , I thought to myself as I got back to the university . At first , I was a bit uncertain of how my life was going to be, I had long forgotten about the existence of the supernatural being called God, I don't really believe He existed cause if He did ,my life wouldn't turn out the way it is today, my dad would have woken up from coma and my mum would still be alive but no I had lost everything I could ever call mine and He did nothing to stop it.
