"so boss, what next ",asked Daniel as he played the basketball.

"Ever seen a place where two friends fight against each other, cause that would be a lot of fun",said Damien smiling as he threw the ball into the basketball court.

"That's intriguing so what are you planning to do",asked Daniel smiling

   "I figured out that Bolu's weakness is his loved ones, so when I take away his loved ones, he would be left alone and totally destroyed",said Damien smiling.

   "I can't wait", said Daniel smiling

"Me neither", said Damien

Testimony's POV

"Seriously",I said angrily as I picked the fiftieth rose flower dropped on my doorstep for the day by none other than Ade.

     It's been two days now since I have broken up with him but he hasn't quite gotten the gist that we are over.

    His romantic gesture is even more annoying than Bolu's calling our kiss a mistake.

   "Trouble in paradise",said Raymond standing in front of me.

  "What are you doing here",I asked angrily

"Can't a brother come to visit his little sister",asked Raymond

    "Not one who left that same sister for 3 years without a word, if we are clear on that, kindly get off my porch, Raymond. If I hadn't made it clear enough before, hear it again, I don't want you back into my life cos I never would know when you leave me again and I'm not ready to face that trauma again, so stay away",I said angrily as o felt like crying

    "No, testy, how long are you going to hold grudges against me, why can't you just forgive me and move on please tell me what  I can do to make things better between us, I miss you so much testimony, I would do anything please just name it", said Raymond with tears threatening to fall.

    "It's too late, until you tell me why you left, then we will talk ",I said as I watched him frown

   "Good bye", I said smiling bitterly before shutting the door in his face.

    "Why does it hurt so much, why can't I just forgive him, I missed him a lot too, shy is it so painful", I cried as I fell on my bed

    And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us

Those words from Our Lord's prayer came to my mind as I cried.

   "Father, it's so painful, after watching my parents being shot in front of my eyes, Raymond made me a promise that he would never leave me like our parents did, I trusted him but no he left me and that's why I need to know why he left before I forgive him, God, I can't forgive him yet",I said.

"For how long will I keep this from Testimony, I can't possibly tell her that our parents were killed by the rival cult because they themselves were cult member, I couldn't tell her that I ran away from home because I couldn't do it anymore, watching the family get involved with drugs , thuggery, charms and chants, kidnapping, human trafficking and armed robbery, how can I tell you that that is who we are, that our family has been a generation of Cultist, I just wanted to keep you safe, from ever finding out the truth about us", said Raymond as he sat down in the restaurant that morning hoping he could change everything.

   "I hope you are not going to waste my time", said Detective Wole taking his seat in front of Raymond.

   "Thank you for coming, detective, I want to bring myself as witness for a crime", said Raymond as he rubbed his palm nervously.
