ight sorry been grounded lmao

"hyunjin, you have a friend, jisung, right?" seungmin asked the next day, sitting in a cozy coffee shop with the one and only.

"oh god, did he annoy you at all? i'm so sorry for him he can be a lot sometimes." hyunjin began profusely apologizing to the younger for his friend without knowing what had happened, assuming the worst as it was jisung.

"no, no, it's fine, he just bumped into me at the casino and recognized me as your friend. we talked a bit and he seems sweet." seungmin answered, feeling a tad bad for how hyunjin was talking about jisung.

"he's not usually annoying, only when he's drunk or comes up with a dumb plan, i'm sorry if he bugged you at all."

"he didn't, i feel slightly bad as i was kind of rude to him, can you let him know i'm sorry about that?" seungmin asked, smiling softly at hyunjin as the boy nodded, quickly whipping out his phone to send his friend a message.

"we can invite him here if you want, we can hang out as a group? unless you don't want to see him again, i get it if you don't." hyunjin suggested, speaking speedily, unsure if seungmin wanted it to just be them two.

"yeah invite him, i'd like to get to know your friends."

hyunjin sighed, a small smile graced his lips as he sent a text inviting jisung to the coffee shop they were at, "i can invite minho too, he's one of my friends as well."

"that'd be great." seungmin agreed, taking a sip of his coffee that sat forgotten in front of him.

"okay! they're both on their way, i can't wait for you to meet them!" hyunjin exclaimed, excitement obvious in his voice.

in around 20 minutes, jisung entered the shop and immediately spotted hyunjin and seungmin talking quietly at a table near the corner, he walked over to them and smiled brightly.

"hello, you're favorite human ever has arrived!" jisung announced, a huge smile on his face as he sat next to hyunjin, waving slightly at seungmin.

seungmin noticed how different jisung acted while sober, he was still loud but in a confident manner compared to his last conversation with the shorter consisting of his insecurities that he was sure hyunjin didn't know of.

"hi jisung, this is seungmin, you already know that, though." hyunjin introduced before slightly face-palming as he realized they've met before.

"i didn't know his name, but hi seungmin, it's nice seeing you in a different setting." jisung said, reaching his hand out to shake seungmin's.

"you too, also sorry if i seemed rude, i was extremely tired, i didn't mean to seem uninterested." seungmin awkwardly laughed as he shook jisung's hand.

"i'll be honest, i barely remember what we talked about, but it's okay! i'm not mad about it." jisung slightly laughed too.

hyunjin nodded awkwardly, not sure what happened between the two boys that they both weren't filling him in on.

minho, being the lord and savior he is, decided now would be a good time to approach the table as they were sat silently.

"hey guys!" minho announced his presence, causing jisung's face to light up.

"hi hyung!" jisung greeted happily, "this is seungmin, hyunjin's friend."

"oh hey," minho said, taking the only available seat next to seungmin, "you look familiar, i can't place where i know you from, though."

"it's s, from clé casino, remember hyung?" jisung responded, introducing seungmin more.

hyunjin nodded along and sipped on his now cold coffee, somewhat glad his friends seemed okay with seungmin.

"oh, i remember now. well, i'm minho, it's nice to meet you seungmin." minho smiled casually at seungmin as he stared at the younger boy, taking in his appearance.

"nice to meet you too." seungmin returned the smile and turned back to the other two boys at the table, slightly taken away by minho's looks.

the four boys stayed for another two hours, joking, talking, laughing comfortably with each other. seungmin fit in easily with hyunjin's friends which the latter was overjoyed about, he didn't know how he'd feel if his best friends hated seungmin or vise versa.

once minho and jisung left, hyunjin offered to drive seungmin home, which seungmin profusely refused to, claiming that he lived too far and didn't want to waste hyunjin's gas on something like that.

hyunjin eventually agreed and said his goodbyes to seungmin, kissing him softly on the cheek which left a blushing seungmin behind.

seungmin giddily walked home and collapsed on his bed, smiling widely just thinking about his time with hyunjin and the boys friends.
