XIX. The End

"Three children." Naruto started as he placed a hand on his belly.

"THREE FUCKING CHILDREN." Naruto screamed as he felt a jolt of pain.

"Shikaku, I'll kill your son dead if he's not here before my first child comes out." Naruto panted quietly, Shikaku and Asuma stood in the hospital room as Naruto water broke that same morning.

Shikamaru was supposed to be home yesterday, but he's late. Naruto's children decided that since their father is a lying lazy bastard they wanted to come out early. Shikaku patted Naruto's head.

"Please calm down Naruto. Think of your children." Naruto only scoffed.

"You mean his children, they are just like him. There's one child, that is calm and it most likely would be the youngest because of the other two dominance!" Naruto spoke and Asuma chuckled.

"You and Kurama have been getting pretty close since the children started developing huh?"  Asuma said and Naruto sighed feeling his children calm slightly.

"Kurama named the kits, however I'm not sure I'm liking the names." Naruto said rubbing his belly before Kurama snorted.

"I believe those are quality names."

"For a Kitsune, my children will mostly be human, more human than me."

"Give them a little history."

Naruto eyes shot to the door, and there stood Shikamaru panting slightly. He dropped all of his Shinobi supplies and walked over to Naruto.

"Have you been waiting long?"

"An eternity, these kids know that you are a lying bastards, you was supposed to be home last night, and now they want to come a month early!" Naruto said and Shikamaru only laughed before sitting behind Naruto. Placing his hands on Naruto's belly, rubbing it a little, watching as Naruto visible calmed.

"Sorry I'm late children. I didn't think you would come so early because I'm a lying bastard." Shikaku just watched as Naruto calmed down with his son behind him.

"Tch, puddy in your fathers hands. That's how I know you are his children." Naruto said leaning back into Shikamaru. His children were calm, and he didn't seem to be dilating anymore.

"How was the mission?" Asuma asked sitting on the bed, Shikamaru exhaled wanting to sleep.

"Ino caused the mission to stall. Her loud voice did not disappear because we are a little older now. She almost caused the mission to fail. She's being scolded by the Hokage now." Naruto breathing leveled out and everybody realized he was sleep.

"Do people normally sleep while in labor?" Shikamaru asked and the older men shrugged. The nurse came back in and she sighed.

She checked and saw that he was displaying no more than four centimeters, he stopped contracting, which isn't good for Naruto or the babies. She called for the doctor and looked at Shikamaru.

"You have to gown up honey." She told Shikamaru and Shikamaru looked confused.

"He's sleeping, which is bad. He basically stopped his labor to sleep, and so we have to cut the babies out. You are the father, so you can come." Shikamaru nodded and gowned up, he followed Naruto and the nurses to the operating room. He was nervous, he was about to become a father.

He watched as Naruto still slept contently. He looked as the doctor cut Naruto open, to see the blood pouring from Naruto made him a little sick. However not long after that thought he heard a cry. His eyes widened, and he looked overjoyed.

"Come here father and cut the first cord." Shikamaru did as he was told and cut the cord. The nurses went to clean up that baby.

"It's a boy." Shikamaru smiled when the second child came out crying too. Shikamaru cut that cord, and the nurse once again said it was a boy.

The third child came, and there was no crying. Their eyes were open and even when the nurse checked over the baby, nothing was wrong.

"It's a girl. Congratulations." The doctor cleaned and stitched Naruto back up as Shikamaru went to look at his children.

The first boy was Shikamaru to a Tee. Wisp of raven hair could be seen, and when he opened his eyes they were raven as well, tanned skin and one whisker marks on each cheek.

The second boy was a mix of Shikamaru and Naruto. Wisp of raven hair and blue eyes, pale skin much like his father, and one whisker mark on each cheek.

The only girl was Naruto to a Tee. Wisp of red hair, and those stunning blue eyes. Pale skin and whisker marks.

They pushed the children up to the nursery while Shikamaru sat with Naruto and waited for him to wake up, when Naruto was woken up he was refreshed, he looked and saw Shikamaru sitting at the end of his bed.

"Genders?" Naruto asked yawning as if he didn't get enough sleep.

"Two boys and a girl. The girl being the youngest. Would you like to see them?" Naruto nodded as the nurse wheeled the children in the room.

"Yasu, because he looks like Shikamaru." Naruto said and Shikaku hummed.

"Yasu meaning peaceful." Shikaku said and Naruto nodded.

"He'll be able to calm his sister down." Naruto continued.

"Our love child is Youta." Naruto said pointing to the middle child.

"Meaning bright, or sunlight." Asuma said Naruto nodded.

"He looks like me and Shikamaru, and when I'm with Shikamaru I feel bright, happy." Naruto said while Shikamaru leaned into Naruto.

"What about our daughter." Naruto smiled.

"I look at her, and the first thing that came to mind was the name Kurama said." Kurama chuckled

"One out of three isn't bad I suppose."

"What's her name?" The males asked while Naruto gave a small smile.

"Saeko, meaning serene child. Although she'll be like me, she won't be as angry as I was, chakra won't bellow at her feet, she'll be calm." Naruto said and everybody nodded liking the names.

"Beautiful names Naruto." Shikaku said and Naruto smiled.

"Thank you." Naruto smiled leaning into Shikamaru.

He was beyond happy.
