XII. Worried Friends

The blood fell and the life left Anko's eyes, as Sakura jumped, grabbing Sasuke they barely missed a round of Kunai's heading their way. Sakura's body was pressed against Sasuke's, as Sasuke's back met the tree. Sasuke held Sakura to him, she was a good sensor, he didn't even sense that. He would've been dead if it wasn't for Sakura.

"Thanks Sakura." Sasuke held her tighter and Sakura exhaled.

"They are trying to distract us while Naruto is fighting the man that wants you, what should we do?" Sasuke tapped his chin, their skill level wasn't equip for this, however he only knew that they couldn't be separated from Naruto. They would kill them and or Naruto.

"We need to make it back to Naruto." Naruto seemed to have the upper hand in the fight, but whoever he was fighting was strong, quite possibly stronger than their Kage.

"Good, we'll create a smoke screen. Make some clones, and I'll place explosions seals on them." Sakura said and Sasuke watched as Sakura pulled eight seals out, Sakura looked back up and Sasuke despite all the danger they were in Sasuke leaned down and kissed Sakura quickly on the lip. Sakura blushed and watched as Sasuke only made clone after clone and she slapped seals on their backs.

Her first kiss was with her husband while they were in a middle of battle, but she would be lying if she said she didn't enjoy it.

Sasuke and Sakura held hands and jumped down, Sakura making the sign rat before speaking. "Kai." The smoke screen was a success and they ran back to Naruto.

Naruto dodges and swung his sword down, he heard a bloodcurdling screamed as one arm was completely separated from the body, Naruto saw the scroll fall from his body.

"Grab that Sasuke!" Sasuke grabbed the scroll and Sakura nodded knowing that the one they needed.

"You SLICED MY ARM OFF." Naruto nodded as he stood their panting, he watched as the male fell to his knees, his blood spurting.

He then saw a red fire start to engulf him, he did the sign tiger, and the black hole opened and Naruto dropped the sword into it, his body went back to normal, he pulled some of Kurama's chakra so he could effectively run away.

"ILL KILL YOU, YOU NAMIKAZE BRAT! ILL HAVE SASUKE, AND ILL KILL YOU!" Naruto jumped down, as somebody came over.

"Lord Orochimaru." Naruto nodded and grabbed Sakura's hand to pull them along.

"Let's go now, we've been fighting them too long, it's already been about a day. And we are two days away from the tower." Naruto spoke as his teammates nodded, there was silence, but once they couldn't sense the snake anymore, and the forest seemed to get a lot lighter. Naruto stopped running and started walking. Sakura and Sasuke held one another's hand, as they walked.

They decided to start a fire and rest and eat. Sakura Eyes has already been closed until she was awoken by Sasuke slamming fire wood down, and Naruto came back with skinned rabbits, they all sat in a circle and started cooking their meals.

"I'm proud of you Sakura, you protected Sasuke." Naruto said and Sakura leaned into Sasuke, Sasuke ran a hand through Sakura's natural colored brown hair. (Cause I hate the pink!)

"I just wanted to be able to stand by you both, you both are so strong I didn't want to be so weak." Sasuke sighed.

"You aren't weak, granted we have more training to do, but we killed a Jounin, I say we are right on track." Naruto nodded as Sakura held a small smile. She just closed her eyes and rested against Sasuke.

Two days later, they made it to the tower, and everybody was waiting for them. Team ten, the sand siblings, along with the Hokage, the pervert, Kakashi and Asuma. They were bombarded with hugs.

Sakura was hugged by Ino ,Temari, and Choji, Sasuke was bombarded by Kankuro and Kakashi. Naruto was bombarded by Shikamaru, Gaara, Asuma and Hizuren.

"I was so worried about you." Shikamaru whispered into Naruto's ear.

"SAKURA I WAS SO WORRIED." Ino screamed.

"I hope you are okay, Sasuke." Kakashi said.

"Off please." Naruto said and everybody got off but Shikamaru, but that all who he wanted touching him.

"What happened? Who attacked you three?" Hizuren asked and Sasuke spoke.

"We need to take this to your office." Sasuke said and Hizuren nodded, all of them left to the tower, once they arrived the Hokage kicked all the Anbu out and placed a seal, Sasuke begin explaining what happened as Naruto slept in Shikamaru's arms.

He hadn't slept in three days, opting to make sure his teammates made it back safe. Shikamaru just ran a hand through that red hair, as he listened to what Sasuke and Sakura explained.

"Naruto whole appearances changed, he declared to protect us as his feet was covered in red chakra. His eyes were red and he summoned a sword." Sakura said and Asuma tilted his head.

"A sword?" Shikaku walked in, he looked around the room, and sat down next to His son. Hizuren sighed and placed a higher seal around the room. Sasuke nodded.

"The sword was called Demonic Fox Sword." Sasuke said and eyes widened, Shikaku Asuma and Hizuren eyes widened. They looked to the sleeping child.

"Are you sure he said that?" Asuma asked the kids and they nodded, before Shikamaru spoke.

"Why is that so shocking?" Shikaku sighed.

"There are many legendary swords crafted  from summoning creatures. They chose who they want to wield the power. Most of the legendary swords belong in the land of the most, however the rouge Sannin Orochimaru has one, however there was only one sword that was so prestigious that the summoners didn't like most of the humans on the earth to allow it to be wielded." Shikaku started before sighing.

"Humans? Are you telling us that the sword Naruto's wield was made by demons?" Shikamaru said, continuing to run a hand through that red hair.

"The last wielder of that sword lived back when Hashirama's was alive, the wielder was actually his wife Mito Uzumaki." Hizuren said and Gaara shook his head

"Wait, I'm confused, what does that have to do with Naruto wielding the sword?" Gaara asked and Hizuren sighed.

"The Demonic Fox Sword works like a sealing sword. One cut, and whatever he cut would stop being able to gather chakra, it also could be used to make demonic seals, the wielder of the sword isn't bound by the human limits, they can now access anything the demons can do." Everybody froze, that was fine and all, but how did Naruto even gain the sword to begin with.

"Who was strong enough that Naruto believed that using the ultimate sword was the only choice." Naruto eyes opened when Shikaku said that, he hummed as all eyes turned to him. Shikamaru's hands didn't stop as Naruto spoke.

"A man named Orochimaru is the reason I used the sword, he said that Sasuke was his next vessel and I couldn't allow him to take my friend." Naruto said and the room nodded.

"Sakura, also protected Sasuke from Anko and an unknown companion utilizing an A-rank Genjustu and her sensor abilities." Naruto started before he spoke again.

"She protected Sasuke as much as I did." Naruto said and everybody nodded looking to Sakura, Sasuke brought her into a tight hug.

"You all should rest while we come up with a plan, team seven, you all did amazing." Hizuren said, Naruto stood up and spoke.

"The man isn't dead, I only cut off one arm, he won't be able to call for a Jutsu, but he knows many forbidden techniques, I'll start there." Naruto took Shikamaru's hand before turning to Shikaku.

"I approve Nara-San." Naruto said and Shikaku chuckled.

"Stop reading my aura." Naruto gave him a small smile.

"Ah, where's they fun in that, see you." All the teams left in a cloud of smoke, and the adults started planning.
