The city is busier than I remember. I guess that's why I want to keep Jayce so close to me.

There are more people, more cars, and potential situations come about. We find ourselves trapped within a herd of people waiting at a crosswalk.

Something doesn't feel right though.

I scour the entire intersection, and my eyes rest on a character across the street. She's leaning up against a wall, while consistently examining every young person who passes by. I can't see her face as it's covered by a green bandana and her long blonde hair.

She begins to look over in our direction and then notices me. I immediately change my line of sight to the crosswalk signal. Something doesn't feel right. I look back to where the she was positioned, but she's no longer there.

"Don't ever do this at home."

I say to Jayce as I grab him, and scamper across a red light.

Tires screech, horns blare, drivers cuss. For what seemed like an eternity of guaranteed death took only seconds to get to the other side. We continue on zig zagging through a maze of people when we hear more tire screeches, a loud thud, and screaming from people near the front of the crowd. I don't turn back to see what happened, but I'm pretty sure I know what just went down.

We dash another two blocks until we find an alleyway. Jayce and I plop ourselves behind a dumpster; hoping not to have been seen or heard.

A mere two minutes pass, and it seems we're in the clear. Jayce and I get up without a peep. But, as I turn around I find myself gazing fearfully in the eyes of a stranger.

"I found you..."

They say.

I can feel my body trembling. Jayce isn't so scared though.

"Your partner in crime seems to read vibes better than you can. I'm not here to hurt you."

I take a deep breath and settle myself.

"Who the hell are you? And how did you track us?"

"Well, it's easy. See I can make myself undetectable to other assassins. And just like you, and like Raider I can use my senses to find you. Your strategy isn't very good though. So I didnt really need to use them. This is the second time you guys have brought Jayce into an alleyway to escape.

Oh, and I'm Bruno."

He quite a bit taller than me. Roughly 162 cm I'd say. He has light brown hair that's combed over with a knitted toque atop it. His left eye is blue and his right eye green. Which is something very special; especially in the assassin world.

But he's not an assassin is he? He doesn't sound like us...m I think that's an Italian accent. He's dressed street clothes. Is it possible that he's..... an escapee? How long have they been following us? Or me...? I have to protect Jayce at all costs.

I'm silenced in awe of what had just happened. Suddenly, I hear footsteps. I glance over to see the girl we were running from walking towards us. I quickly pick Jayce up and try to make a run for it, but Bruno blocks me.

"Move or I'll..."

"I wouldn't do that..."

He interrupts.
