It took years of planning, reading, and scoping out.

The 13th district didn't have as much security as where Raider and Noah come from. But, that's because they underestimated our power. There were usually only two guards at all times. So it wasn't hard to keep both preoccupied.

"Hey asshole! What are you doing?"

I flip my page, and then look up to see a guard standing in front of my cell.

"Nice to see you Finch. And uh, I'm pretty sure this is what they call reading. Not that you'd know though."

I couldn't help but smirk knowing I was pissing him off.

"You bastard! You're lucky tomorrows a public day. Them idiots don't like when I teach you lessons."

He says as he walks away.

I am lucky... lucky he didn't decide to open my cell today. If he did the escape would have went down the drain. What I was reading wasn't really a book, but blueprints of the institution.

Everything had to be timed perfectly. I had to wait until after hours when it was dark. For some reason the guards thought it was smart to do their rounds together.

The glaring beam from their flashlights blinded me as they shone into each cell. Laughing everytime they woke someone up. I wait until they're two cells down to start my blueprint mission.

I take a few breaths to gain concentration, and then watch as my body begins to blend in with the surrounding environment.

Bruno's Point of View

"Zzzzz."

"I knew he wouldn't last long."

I say as I see Raider crashed out on the picnic table.

I soon notice the most of the group followed suit. Except for Noah. He finds himself stuck in the rocking chair with Jayce bundled up on one side, and Dezzy on the other. Both were passed out.

He hazily gazes at me as he tries to fight off sleep himself.

"So what do we do?"
He asks.

"Don't fight off the fatigue. It'll fight you back in the end.

"I meant to save everyone..."

"Like I said no one's gonna..."

"You don't have to bullshit me. I know everyone's in danger. So how do we do this?"

"Thing is... they're a bunch of posers."

"Huh?"

"The A8. They pose in human communities as figures that the humans feel they can trust. Police officers, firefighters, celebrities, politicians. They're all acting right under everyone's noses. It'll be hard to pick them out. That, and they'll be hard to get at because they'll be guarded.

And when we're nowhere near them... they'll have their minions looking for us.

We have to be careful. Because if we screw up... everyone in this camp is a goner."

Bringing them here wasn't an easy decision. We've put our own lives in danger for what though? To help a couple of strangers out? No... they're all one of us. We're in this together.

"Why don't you get some sleep now?"

I ask. But, he was already well ahead of me on that. I lay a blanket over the three of them before heading to my hammock.
