Dallas;

You and Dallas had been going out for a couple months now, and you were currently at one of Buck's parties. Earlier, while you were getting ready for the party, you and your mom had gotten into a very heated fight and she basically kicked you out of the house. You obviously had nowhere to go, being only seventeen years old, so you just left for the party and didn't grab any essentials you needed, in the hopes your mother would allow you back at the house. The night went on and you were partying and dancing with Dallas, trying to have a good time and keep your stressful situation out of your head. Except that only lasted for so long until it made you burst into tears. "Hey i'm gonna go to the ladies room, i'll be right back." You said to Dally and then you took off. Luckily, there was nobody in the bathroom, so you just barged right in and locked the door. You walked over to the mirror and just started crying. "I'm so stupid." You muttered to yourself as the tears began to roll down your cheeks. You hadn't realized how much time you had spent crying in the bathroom until there was a bang at the door, and you heard Dally's voice booming from the other side. "Hey, Y/N, you in there?"He asked. You sniffled quickly and replied with a "Yeah!"  "Are you cryin'?" He asked you confused. You sniffled quickly and replied "What, no." But it was very obvious through your congested sound what you had been doing. "C'mon Y/N don't lie to me. What are you upset about?" He asked you through the closed door. "Umm, my mom kicked me out of the house.. and I have no where to go." You sobbed to him through the door.  "Y/N, I'm coming in." He said and he barged through the door and closed it behind him. "Hey." You said wiping the makeup out from under your eyes. "Come here." He sighed, hugging you. "Stay with me tonight okay?" He half asks half orders. "Okay." You said as you hugged him again and began to calm down. It's hard to believe, but Dallas Winston had a soft side when it came to his girl.

Ponyboy:

You and your boyfriend, Pony were at lunch, finally getting to talk for the first time today. You had a really crappy morning, you and your mom got into to a fist fight again. Your dad was too drunk to care of course and your older sister could give a damn less. Your day has just been all around terrible, and to top it off Ponyboy was complaining about Darry. You loved Ponyboy to death, but you just snapped and went off on him. "Enough!" You shouted slamming your right hand on the table and gripping your head with the left. "I'm tired of hearing you bitching and complaining about Darry. There are people who have it so much worse. I would kill to have your relationship with your siblings, hell I would kill to have your life!" You shouted insensitively. "Oh really, you want dead parents and a controlling older brother?!" He shouted at you. "Yeah, I do. I would take that any day over the bullshit I have at home!" You yelled back. Pony just stared at you awe struck. "I can't believe you." He said finally, getting up and grabbing his things. You watched as your boyfriend stormed off and left you all alone with people staring at you and giving you dirty looks. "Move along you jackasses!" You yelled, and everyone quickly turned the other way and minded their own business. Later on that day you were walking home and passed Ponyboy, who was sitting on a bench under a tree reading as he waited for Johnny and Two Bit. Your felt like the right thing to do would be to talk everything out with him, but your pride got the best of you and you walked right past him like he wasn't there. He noticed you though, and he quickly got your attention once he figured out you weren't going to acknowledge him. "Y/N" He said and you stopped and turned around. "What?" You snapped back at him. "Look I don't know what your problem is, but there is absolutely no need for what went down in the cafeteria earlier." He said. "Oh so you're saying this is my fault?" You shouted at him. "What? NO, that's not at all what i'm say-" He started, but you cut him off. "You know I thought you were different." You said as tears began to well up in your eyes. "Y/N, what are you saying?" He asked you confused. "I have nobody, nobody!" You shouted at him. "Y/N." He said dumbfounded. "Don't Y/N me!" You shouted at him as tears began to spill out of your eyes. "Y/N, what is going on, talk to me." He said getting up and walking over to you. "I hate my life. My mom and I beat the shit out of each other this morning, my dad isn't sober even half of the time, and my sister, well she just couldn't give a shit less than she already does. Your life on the other hand, your life sounds much more bearable." You said to him as even more tears streamed out of your eyes. "Y/N my parents are dead, my life isn't anywhere near something you would want." He said looking you in the eyes. "Well you see the thing is, my parents are already dead to me." You replied. He just stood there and looked at you shocked. "Here, come home with me." He said putting his arm around you. It wasn't a romanic walk, it was more like a walk to make sure you didn't do anything you would regret later on. Once you got to the Curtis house, Pony lead you into him and Soda's shared bedroom, and he sat you down on the bed. "Y/N listen, whatever you are going through I'm gonna be here for you. I love you." Pony said. You just looked up at him and burst into tears. "I-I'm sorry for all of this. I'm sorry about the fight and all of my hurtful words and insensitivity. It's just I don't know much longer I can live like this." You cried. "I'm not happy, I don't know how much longer I can go on." You continued. "Hey, don't say that. I can talk to Darry and see what we can do about having you stay here for a little bit, or even just getting you help okay?" He asked you. "Okay." You nodded and hugged Ponyboy tightly. You guys stayed like that until dinner time. Despite everything that had happened that day, you loved Ponyboy so much and in the end things ended up working out.
