a/n: okay so i was gonna do like a chapter where the reader has the baby but i feel so awk writing it and i wanna add other stuff but it wouldn't fit with that specific chapter so i'm doing it as headcannons instead. also this is going along with the previous chapter.

Darry;

-this man is so excited to be a dad

-like yeah when he found out he was a little stressed bc he still has pony and soda to take care of but he's THRILLED

-at the beginning of your pregnancy he was fine 

-near the end he was SO PROTECTIVE

-literally did everything for you

-you yelled at him bc he was being annoying

-but did that stop him? no

-i feel like pickles and peanut butter would be something you would crave

-sounds disgusting but like i think it's a thing

-doesn't dare to question your food choices

-literally will ZOOM to the store at anytime of day in any kind of weather to get you whatever you were craving

-WHEN HE FELT THE BABY KICK FOR THE FIRST TIME HIS REACTION WAS ADORABLE

-SMILING UNCONTROLLABLY

-i feel like you guys would have this long list of baby names to choose from

-soda was throwing in some wack ass options like "pretzel" and shit like that

"soda i am not naming my child after a food"

"it was just an option"

-when darry and soda are at work he makes pony watch you like a fucking hawk

-bruh when your water breaks all hell breaks loose

-YOU'RE HOME ALONE WITH PONY WHEN IT HAPPENS 

-pony literally calls darry at work hyperventilating while you scream at him in the background

-poor pony is FRAZZLED

-when darry gets to the house he rushes you to the hospital in a calm and safe manner

-k but i feel like he would be one of those dads to look when the baby's coming out but like he wouldn't be grossed out or any of that

-but he'd def go back up by your head bc it's not the prettiest sight

-he def holds ur hand and pulls your hair out of your face

-when your baby comes out he's a mess

-crying tears of joy

-you guys had a baby girl

-when he holds her it's the cutest thing

-he's so in love w her literally cannot stop holding her

-she's fucking adorable

-dally even thinks she's cute

-but he won't hold her

-the idea of dallas winston holding a newborn child is TERRIFYING
