Darry;

You had a doctors appointment today and your boyfriend Darry was taking you. Normally, you would just go on your own, but today you had insisted on him coming with you. Reason being was that you were getting your blood drawn. You absolutely hated needles, you couldn't even stand to think about them. You needed Darry to go to this appointment with you to make sure everything went alright. As you guys were getting into his truck, your palms began to sweat. "You know Darry maybe we should just go do this another day." You spoke nervously, turning to get out of the passenger side door before he could start the truck. "No Y/n, you gotta get this blood work done." He protested in a stern tone, reaching out and grabbing a hold of your arm, keeping you from moving any further. Quickly, he let go of your arm and started the truck before you could pull any stunts and leave. The whole ride to the doctor's office your hands were shaking and your body was beginning to sweat. All you could think about was the needle that the nurses would be sticking in your arm in just a few minutes. When you guys finally arrived at the doctors,Darry helped you out of the passenger side door and held your hand until a nurse called you back. She got you situated into a room and shortly after, she left the room to get the supplies she needed. When she came back, needle in hand, you began to panic. "Hi Y/n. We're gonna draw some blood today. Are you ready?" She asked, walking through the door. "Um..." You let out, flashing Darry a look of panic from across the room. You were sitting on the cot in the doctors office, and he sat in a chair on the wall opposite of it. "Don't be nervous sweetheart, it'll be done and over with before you know it." The nurse spoke trying to comfort you. "O-Okay." You stuttered. When the nurse began cleaning off the spot on your arm where she would be drawing blood from, Darry walked up to the other side of you and held your hand. The nurse proceeded to do everything she needed to do prior to inserting the needle. As the nurse was going to put in the needle, Darry tried to distract you by starting a conversation with you, but it didn't do much. You were still focused on what the nurse was doing instead of what Darry had been saying.  When the needle was out and the nurse place the cotton and the bandaid on your arm, you began to feel light headed. "Is it normal to feel a little dizzy?" You asked. You rarely ever got your blood drawn, but you didn't remember ever feeling like this afterwards. "Some patients do get a little light headed. Why don't we lay you back." She spoke, reaching over to grab one side, while Darry grabbed the other. As the two were slowly laying you on your back, your eyes rolled back and closed. Darry and the nurse weren't too freaked out, because some people tended to react that way to needles and getting blood drawn, but they still acted fast. When you came to, the nurse was gently patting your face with a wet rag and Darry slowly helped you sit back up. Once you were good to go, Darry watched you carefully as you headed back to the truck. He offered to carry you, but you refused. When you guys arrived back at the Curtis house, Darry made you sit down a relax for a couple of hours until you were one hundred percent sure you didn't feel light headed anymore.

Soda;

It had been a long day. You were busy running around, doing things for your mother, who was sick with the flu. You had to take care of your younger siblings and pick them up from school and daycare, while also juggling grocery shopping and cooking meals; you were also still attending school to top it all off. You were stressed, but you did well under pressure. So far everything had been going well, but you hadn't gotten anytime to get a meal or even a little snack in. At this point in the day, you had just gotten out of school and you had a little break in between getting out of school and picking up your little brother from daycare. You figured that within this time off, instead of eating like you probably should have been doing, you went to go visit your boyfriend, Soda, at his work. You walked in to the gas station and the bell on the door rang, signaling a customer. Soda emerged from the garage and his face lit up when he saw you. "Hi baby!" He greeted you, picking you up and spinning you around. "Hello." You giggled in response to his actions. "I wasn't expecting to see you, I thought you were busy." He stated. "I found sometime to come visit my favorite person." You smirked, leaning forward and planting a small kiss on Soda's lips. Your stomach began to growl and it was not a quiet sound. "Hungry?" Soda laughed. "Yeah, I guess I haven't really eaten at all today." You blushed, embarrassed. Soda's eyes widened when you said that. "Y/n it's 4:45!" He practically yelled, his eyes almost bursting out of their sockets. "Go get you something to eat off the shelf, I'll pay for you." He insisted. "No Soda I got money." You sighed, pulling out two one dollar bills to show him. "Okay well then get you something." He demanded, gesturing towards the shelves full of snack behind you. You playfully rolled your eyes, before turning around to walk down the aisles to look for something to eat. As you were walking, you began to feel dizzy. You stopped in place for a second and grabbed a shelf for support, before continuing your hunt for a snack. Just as you had come across something you wanted, another wave of dizziness took over, sending you rushing towards the ground. Soda looked up from something on the counter he had been messing with and saw a glimpse of you laying down face first on the floor. "Y/n!" He yelled. He ran over to where you lie on the floor, all of the commotion causing Steve to come out of the garage. "What the hell happened?" Steve asked confused. "I don't know. Y/n was grabbing a snack and she just collapsed!" Soda spoke frantically. "Here use my water." Steve spoke, handing Soda his half drank water. Soda got his calloused fingers wet, and gently dabbed your face with them, sending a shock to your body and waking you up. You sat up really fast and gasped. "What happened?" You asked confused as to why you were on the floor. "You passed out Y/n." Soda spoke, brushing a strand of you hair behind your ear. "You need to eat something." He spoke again. "I'm assuming this is what you wanted?" Steve asked, grabbing the bag of chips that was barley hanging onto the shelf. "Mhm." You nodded lightly. "I'll go ring it up." He spoke again, while Soda stayed with you. "Take this." Soda spoke, handing him fifty cents. "But I-" You started, but Soda cut you off. "Don't worry about it." He spoke. Soda sat with you on the floor while you ate your bag of chips, before hesitantly watching you walk out the door to go pick up your little brother. After his shift was over, he visited you at your house just to check up on you and make sure you were alright.
