"All my years doing home schooling. I didn't think I would be going to senior prom" I tell Christina as I try on a prom dress in a dressing room of this dress boutique.
"I'm happy you and Tobias are together" she says outside the dressing room
She already has her dress for prom. It's a beautiful emerald green, she's going to look so beautiful.
I walk out of the dressing room and her eyes go wide.
"What" I giggle
"Tris you look hot. This is the dress" she says and I can't help but giggle.
I look in the mirror and tie my hair up in a ponytail. The long gold shinny dress fits my body perfectly. My boobs look really nice in it too.
I can't wait to show Tobias on his prom night.
"Tobias is not going to be able to keep his hands off of you" she says and I roll my eyes laughing
She snaps a picture of me and I give her a simple smile.
"Is it too much. I don't want to be too fancy" I say
"It's perfect Tris" she tells me and I look in the mirror one last time.
"Then this is the dress" I say
I step off of the podium and head back to the dressing room.
We pay for the dress and then Christina and I go our separate ways.
She has plans with Will later on.
My stomach growls and groan.
I just ate an hour ago. I guess that wasn't enough.
I stop at a local grocery store and pick up some salads for Tobias and I.
I'm heading to his house now.
When I open the door, I jump into his arms and attack him with a passionate kiss.
"I missed you" I say as he holds me close
"I missed you too" he says with his cute smile
"I picked us up some lunch" I say holding the bag of salads.
"You're the best" he says
We sit on his living room floor and eat while the tv plays in the background but we barely even pay attention to it.
"I got my prom dress today" I say excitedly
"I can't wait to see it. I'm sure you look gorgeous like always" he says kissing my head and taking our empty salad bowls to the kitchen.
"Can I at least know the color" he asks coming back to me in the living room
"Gold" I smile at him
"That already sounds so sexy" he says holding my waist and pulling me close.
Our lips touch and before anything gets too heated. My phone gets a notification.
I pull away from our kiss and check it. It's from the pharmacy to pick up my birth control.
"I have to stop by the pharmacy" I say and he groans.
"That can wait. I like kissing you" he says leaving small kisses on my neck now as I reply to the notification on my phone saying I will pick it up today.
"I don't know why you're on the pill. You always forget to take it" he says pulling away from our kiss
"At least we use condoms" I say
"Not all the time" he says and I sigh
"Well that's both of our faults" I say and he shrugs and goes back to kissing me.
He cups my boobs but not in the normal way he normally does, causing me to pull away from our kiss.
"What are you doing" I ask him and he chuckles
"Your boobs are bigger" he says pulling away a little and looking at them
"Tobias stop" I say laughing with him
"Babe, they obviously look bigger. Don't you realize" he says
"I'm probably just gaining weight or about to get my period" I tell him and my eyes go wide.
"I'm not saying I don't like them. They just look bigger" he says getting ready to kiss me again but I pull away.
"Wait" I say starting to freak out. I scroll through my phone and search for my period app.
"What's wrong" he asks and I immediately put my hands on my face.
"No. No. No" I say
"Tris. What happened" he asks
"I'm late. A month late. How could I not realize" I tell him and he finally realizes.
"Let's breathe. Lets calm down. Let's not freak out" he says holding me
"I could be pregnant Tobias" I say and I start to cry
"Let's go to the pharmacy and pick up some test. We can also grab your birth control while we're there" He says and wipes my tears.
He grabs his car keys and drives us to the pharmacy.

We're on our way home from the pharmacy and the car ride back has been pretty silent.
I hold the bag full of different brands of pregnancy test on my lap and can't help but start to cry again.
"I'm sorry Tobias" I say and he takes his eyes off the road to look at me for a second.
"Tris no matter what happens. I'm going to be here with you every step of the way, no matter what you decide. I'm not going anywhere" he says
"I should've been more responsible with my birth control. This wouldn't be happening if I was" I say
"This is not your fault. I could've used more condoms but don't worry about it tris. Whatever happens we will figure it out together" he says holding my hand
When we get to his house. We head to his room and I run to his bathroom with a box of test because I have to pee so bad.
I pee on the first stick and put it off to the side. I pee on another one and that that one off to the side too.
We sit on his bathroom floor together. Each holding a stick and wait for it to beep when it's done.
Our sticks beep at the same time. When we turn them over we both have the same expression on our faces.
