"Lola, baby wake up." said the mysterious voice.

I felt like my eyes were open but it was all pitch black. Were my eyes really opened? I groaned in pain as my head started to throb. Ow. What the hell happened?

"She's awake! Look she's moving! Bring me some ice cold water!" Gwen spoke.

My eyes weren't open, and when I did finally open, it was Gwen's face I saw first. Followed by Lucas and the bottle of ice cold water. I looked at them and then I started to sit up. Oy! My head! I grabbed my head and groaned in pain again. Someone tapped my shoulder on my right. I looked, it was Richard.

"Here take some painkillers. You fell down hard Lola." he said worriedly.

I took the pills and I grabbed the water from Lucas. I drank them down and the water felt so refreshing. I closed my eyes again and rolled my neck. Ahh. That felt much better. I opened my eyes again and Gwen still looked worried. She kept throwing glances at Richard and then at me. What was going on?

"What happened?" I asked firmly.

Richard looked uncertain. I felt Lucas's hand grab mine and he gave me a small smile. Gwen just looked down. I was so confused.

"Someone please tell me what happened." I snapped.

Gwen spoke first. "It's Grace. She's been in a car accident. When Richard told you, you fainted. It was all so sudden that by the time we reacted you knocked your head on the floor pretty damn hard." She said quickly.

My heart raced. Grace. "I need to go see her! Now!" I said as I fumbled trying to get up of the floor.

"Whoa there. Slow down, I'll drive you." Lucas said as he stretched out his hand towards me.

"Ok...Richard can you take care of the girls please?" I pleaded.

He nodded. "Tell me how Grace is." he said and then he turned to go grab Juliet.

Isabel was still eating her pancakes and Gwen turned around to go back to the dinning table. Lucas had disappeared. I looked around and didn't see my purse. I ran up stairs and found my purse on the bed. I grabbed it and yanked my cell phone from the charger and threw it in the purse. I raced back downstairs shouting a quick goodbye to Richard and the girls. I ran past Lucas who was walking towards the car. We got in and drove to the hospital.

I was a nervous wreck. I didn't know if Grace was badly injured or concious or whatever! I didn't know and I couldn't bare hearing I had lost her or someting of that sort. I was biting my nails. I felt Lucas's warm hand caress my thigh. He was trying to calm me down, but at this point, only seeing Grace would calm me down. I felt tears sting my eyes. Grace was like an older sister for me. The sane part of me, how could I live without her?

We finally arrived at the hospital and I literally bolted out of my seat in record time. I could hear Lucas jogging behind me to keep up with my pace. I ran through the sliding glass doors and panted as I reached the counter. The lady behind it looked at me confused.

"Ma'am are you ok?" She asked with concern.

"I'm- I'm...sorry, um I'm looking for Grace Heartmann." I spoke out of breath.

The lady behind the counter typed away on her computer. A minute passed and she finally wrote something down on a piece of paper and then pulled out two square stickers. She wrote 'visitor room 209' and then handed it to me along with the other piece of paper.

"Take the elevator to the second floor make a right once you are there than walk straight down, room 209 should be on your left." She smiled.

"Thank you so much!" I said.
