my opinion:
Sherlock drives John absolutely crazy and i'm here for it. in this one/series, Sherlock's Asexual, so when they cuddle, it's like cuddling cuddling cuz Sherlock really said "no beuno" on sex.
and it's COLD in london so they end up bundling/cuddling often and maybe the owl in the bed is just an excuse to share a bed?? idk, but it stays there in his bed for a while.
i don't think they're actually together in this one yet? i can't remember— but maybe in the other ones they get together?? you'll have to read and find out i guess lol. have fun.
