Atop a three-story building stood a lone figure stood, a deep red cloak swaying in the wind. The hood of the cloak was pulled over their head and two large, rabbit ears protruded from under the tip of the hood. The mask covered their face completely the lower part of their mask pushed out slightly. The mouth of the mask was an upward facing triangle and above the point of the mouth was a coloured triangle pointing down for the nose. Just slightly above the nose and off to the sides was two round holes that worked to allow its wearer sight.

The wearer of this strange get-up was none other than the Red Rabbit. The Red Rabbit, an assassin known in the entire land, even adventurers of the Labyrinth city Orario new of their alias, though no one truly knew if their skills were as amazing as they say. The Rabbit looked down from the building they stood atop and into the fenced garden of their most recent target, a corrupt noble that had been taking part in human smuggling operations. The Rabbit was unlike most assassins, not working for money but instead working to eliminate those whom they saw as corrupt of those that were evil. They were, for all intents and purposes, an unlawful vigilante.

The Rabbit took stock of the Garden and the distance before jumping. Their cloak fluttered around them as they descended quickly through the air his mask showing the blank face as always. As he fell he pulled back his right hand and threw a rope connected to a grappling hook. The hook sailed through the air and wrapped around the sword held in the stone hands of a statue that towered over the fence. The rope tightened and the Rabbits momentum carried them forward towards the fence. They twisted their body around the rope and held themselves flat with their feet pointed to the fence.

They connect with their feet meeting one of the lines of the fence, the soft material of the boots the Rabbit wore muffling any sounds and lessening the impact the Rabbit made, though anyone normals legs would've been shaking with the speed and height he fell. The Rabbit twisted and began scaling the metal fence on their rope like a spider, his speed impressive. The Rabbit reached the top of the story high fences and used a bar as a pole to slide down. They landed softly and ran to the statue. The Rabbit began scaling to retrieve their grapple, it had taken them way too long to get the exact measurements for this and he wouldn't waste it so easily.

The Rabbit retrieved their grapple before quickly descending the statue and crossing the garden silently to a hedge along the outer line of the two-storey mansion their target lived in. The Rabbit sunk into the back of the hedges and crouched down, waiting. He waited for three minutes until the guards whose timings he had studied previously walked passed him. He watched them pass around the edge of the mansion before exiting the hedge as quietly as possible and turning to the building. He stalked along the edge of the building in the opposite direction to the guards until he came across the window he needed.

The Rabbit tightened their reinforced, black gloves and began scaling the wall of the building. The Rabbit climbed easily with the ledges and cracks in the cream stone giving them easy holds for their hands and shoes. They reached the window and looked beyond into the darkness on the other side. The Rabbit let go with their right hand before reaching behind their waist and pulling a long, finely made dagger. It was a long black dagger with one side razor-sharp and the back as a flat, firm surface. Inscribed into the dagger were a clear VII near the hilt and the signature of the goddess of the forge, Hephaestus.

The Rabbit used the knife and cut into the wooden window edge before pulling the blade out, the lock on the other side broken by the dull grey yet fearsome blade. The Rabbit opened the window and slinked into the shadows of the room on the other side. They crouched on the other side of the window, letting their eyes adjust to the darkness of the room before moving over to the door on the other side of the room. This was the most dangerous part as the Rabbit had never been able to observe the guards on the inside and only had a rough idea to the interior, the plans he had gotten hold of being very old.
