Bell had awoken nicely this morning and, after deciding on an outfit from his new wardrobe and eating breakfast, was now walking down the streets of Orario to the dungeon. Bell moved through the busy crowds of adventurers looking to enter the dungeon and began to get stuck by the traffic so he moved out to the side to get away. Bell made his way through some back alleys until he came to a side road that had practically no people. Bell stepped out and walked for a little before hearing a loud commotion and seeing a little girl run past him. The little girl had red hair and wore a coat with a large hood covering her face. Behind her, three men were chasing. The men came past Bell and surrounded the little girl and said, "Hey, thought you could get away, little supporter?"
The little girl crawled back up a little as the three closed in on the poor girl. "We'll show you what happens to supporters like you, you little shit!" As the man in the middle finished he came forward with his dagger poised to strike down. The little supporter covered her face with her arms and prepared for a stabbing pain, but it never came. The little girl opened her eyes and the man was unconscious, draped over the arm of a boy with white hair and red eyes. The boy was wearing straight black clothes with white grieves over his legs and a white chest piece, a pair of white wrist bands over his wrists. The little boy smiled to the other two men and said, with a frighteningly cheerful voice, "Ma~, three men on one little girl? A little unfair, don't you think?"
The closest of the two was the first to reply, "So what? She's not just a little girl, she's a treacherous supporter that took our money!" The boy moved his eyes to the speaker and the speaker felt a cold chill run up his spine as their eyes locked, "And how much was it that you paid the supporter from your profits? How much percentage?" The man replied softly but the boy spoke calmly as he said, "How much?" The man grits his teeth and said, "5%." Bell cocked his head slightly and said, "And this is ok? I do believe the guild has a policy of 10% or more to the supporter of a group. Are you telling me you are breaking guild standards?" The man went tch and replied with, "So what? She's just one little supporter."
The reply seemed to darken the mood of the little boy quite heavily. No longer was that frightening cheerful aura around him, but instead, the air of the alley felt cold and damp. The men staggered back a step before Bell looked at them with gleaming red-eyes and asked, "D you believe that is okay? To give a shit to someone who risks just as much, if not more, to secure your income for the day easily? Are you telling me her life is worth less than yours because she took the role of a supporter?" The men stepped back from the boy as he let their comrade fall to the ground roughly and slowly drew a dagger from what seemed to be nowhere. "If you wish to say that a comrade is useless, just because they do a job lesser than yours, then come and face me while you say it." The men pissed themselves with fear at the boy and felt the world spin around them as they stared into the gleaming eyes of this youth and felt fear.
The two fell unconscious before Bell and he sheathed his dagger whilst staring at the two with disgust. Bell turned behind him and saw the little girl was also wide-eyed with fear and was shaking. Bell tapped himself in the head, his killing intent might've been too intense, he just felt so angry with people who were intending to hurt their comrades, it reminded Bell of him. Bell knelt in front of the small girl and smiled to her brightly before holding out his hand and asking, "Do you want to come with me? I'm sure I'll treat you better than those guys." The little girl looked at Bells' hand before looking back up to the red eyes that were open to her and radiated kindness, she found it hard to believe she had just felt almost tangible killing intent.
The little girl looked at his hand before shakily taking it and being lifted. Bell smiled as she stood and stumbled a little before saying to her, "We should go get you a bath... and maybe some new clothes." The little girl blushed a little as the two walked. Bell made sure to hold her hand through the crowd, but he could see glimpses of her keeping her head down and trying to erase herself from the crowd, it was probably a survival instinct. Bell wasn't too aware of the situation in today's time with the supporters, but he did know they were treated horribly. Bell made a mental note, he would bring this up with Fels next time he saw the mysterious figure. And, if Bell had his way, they would be fixing this situation. The two walked through the crowd of adventurers heading to the dungeon and moved more freely as it thinned out. Bell took the little girl to his house and she was agape with shocked eyes as Bell moved through the front gate and motioned for her to follow.
